Understandable. I just see Pysyk as a safer pick to reach his potential. As Chain said, the potential pairing of McNabb and Pysyk is interesting. Hopefully it can turn into something like the RR-Sekera pairing now, with more offensive upside.

Pysyk. He has so much more potential than Foligno. Pysyk could be a great 2nd pairing RD behind Myers. I think he's a big piece of the future. I don't think Foligno will be able to reproduce the points he had last season. I see him as more of a 3rd line grinder, (which isn't a bad thing).

Add Schiestel.

Well, they did play together in the scrimmage which I was very happy about.

Foligno. I have a feeling this is going to be Foligno' year. I can see him netting 20 this season. Anyone agree? I think the kid is going to be a beast for many years to come for the Sabres.

As long as he's "a beast" the way he was in the last month, i don't even care how many goals he scores... he will be incredibly valuable, if he can effectively play his game... for 82 games

Exactly. Foligno's worth won't be measured by his point total--anything above 35 points is just icing.

His worth will be measured in how tough he is to play against and how much space he helps create for Ennis and/or other skill players.

I'm 100% positive he was with him on a few shifts at least.

I mentioned to one of my friends and a few people surronding me that this pairing has potential to be our #1 SHUTDOWN line. Some of the people didn't know who MP was. It might not have been the starting line but im sure they played together.

Didn't get a chance to vote, but would've voted for Pysyk. Add Varone!
