Detroit Red Wings Prospect #10

1.) Brendan Smith - D, 6'1" 198 lbs: Mimico, ON, CAN 72.73%
2.) Gustav Nyquist - RW/LW, 5'11" 185 lbs: Halmstad, SWE 68.75%
3.) Calle Järnkrok - C, 6'0" 176 lbs: Gävle, SWE 72.73%
4.) Tomáš Tatar - LW/RW, 5'10" 186 lbs: Ilava, SVK 44.44%
5.) Tomas Jurco - RW, 6'2" 187 lbs: Kosice, SVK 65.85%
6.) Riley Sheahan - C, 6'2" 223 lbs: St. Catharines, ON, CAN 27.78%
7.) Teemu Pulkkinen - RW, 5'10" 198lbs: Vantaa, FIN 35.92%
8.) Xavier Ouellet - D, 6'0" 187lbs: Bayonne, FRA 45.24%
9.) Ryan Sproul - D, 6'3" 186 lbs: Mississauga, ON, CAN 45.98%

Think Sproul is heavier than that but that is what his team site lists him at eliteprospects still has him at 176. Would surprise me if he is still under 190. In any event Landon Ferraro is the add this round.

Maybe Mrazek's free fall will come to an end this round... Keep suggesting people to add. Thanks for all the help, I think this has been fun even if it seems to be upsetting a lot of people.

Voted Petr Mrázek again, think we should add Alan Quine who is very underrated in my opinion.

Have a feeling this is going to be one of those 24 hour votes, we will wait at least a day so everyone around the world has say, but if the gap becomes huge we can move on to 11 tomorrow night/day depending on where you are.

Went with Mrazek to get him on the board, even though I am hesitant to pick goalies. I do think he will fair better than Mccollum though, I think he has the mental edge on him.

Add Nicastro.

We should end this poll already . Mrazek by a landslide. Add Quine.

It's harder to determine who to add than to vote for. Mrazek is ahead of both Pulk and Sheahan in my mind, but a bit behind XO and Sproul.

I'd go with Quine over Nicastro, but I actually like both and think both are undervalued/under the radar.

Just to be clear you know that our Hudon is different than the one playing for team Canada right? Very surprised to hear his name even brought up, hope he rebounds this year, but what a dreadful year he had last year. Guess the kid hits like crazy, but I would be pretty stunned if he even earns a contract now that they don't have a long time to decide on him. Wish he could have stuck it out in US college, think that ended his chances with the Wings.

Marcenko --- Might be our best defensive prospect after Smith.

I went with Joakim Andersson. I just don't feel comfortable voting for goalies, so Mrazek was never in the running for me. I kept looking at Frk, Jensen, Marchenko and Tvrdon and couldn't pick. They all have their positives. Instead, I went with a guy with a lower upside but who is maybe the most "ready." While he might be destined to be a 4th line center, Andersson could likely hold that spot down right now, and that counts for something.

Add Callahan.

Glad to see Frk getting votes.

I just went back and watched all the goals I could from the 2011-2012 season from Trvdon and Frk. I really like both these guys. Hard to see who's the better prospect, but I think Frk has a bit more high-end skill and a higher ceiling. Tough to say though, with Trvdon's size and strength he could become a better player.

There is a lot of footage on both of these guys if anyone wants to familiarize themselves more with either prospect.

You and me both.

Feel sorry for Andersson he probably belongs farther up this list than he is going to end up. Just hard to get super excited about him, especially since I believe in Aubry as a fourth line stud in a couple of years.

Tvrdon, Jensen and Marchenko.

Think Tvrdon is going to be a big mover this year on this list if he has the season I am expecting. Scores goals a variety of ways and is already NHL big in terms of his size. If he starts scoring at well over a point a game without Gallagher he should start to get the props he deserves.

Tvrdon. i think he is one of the high lights of what in 5-7 years we might be calling the gold mine draft for the wings. Jurco, Ouellet, Sproul, Quine, Tvrdon, Backman, Nedomiel, Marchenko. I mean come on. i think Nedomiel is the only guy who really i have to wonder if he can make it and that's because i don't know a lot except he's big and doesn't put up crazy numbers. but I'm a huge supporter of Quine as a potential depth guy who puts up points. Ouellet are a future super team and from what i hear Marchenko is really good. and should i really need to talk about Jurco. this to me looks kind of like the Draft that Nashville got Weber, Suter and whatever his name is.

Add Athanasiou

Mrazek!

Add... well, I would love to give some Credit to Athanasiou or Marchenko and even Quine. But I can't believe Callahan is not even in. In my eyes he is pretty close to a bluechip NHLer due to his ability to get under peoples' skin. So add him!
