Welp, looks like Jonny Craig is back on the smack again. And they burned bridges with Kurt Travis. That sucks.

No, it's a play on the Spurgeon waitress and Ryan Suter being #20.

It may be a dumb law but it could be a marriage saver.

Super short hair = complete turn off

It's still not as bad as when my stupid ***** of an ex went and got as massive tattoo across her back and arm behind my back. I'm sure her boyfriend on the side approved though.

Huh, I wonder if my post in the last thread saying we should mention Suter attributed to the thread title at all?

And mods, I have a question. Could it be possible to break up fantasy hockey and video games talk into two different boards? It's somewhat ridiculous that when I want to talk fantasy hockey, I go to the board that is supposedly fantasy hockey related, but have to search 2-3 pages before I find one topic, and even then it only has 5-10 replies. Every single thread is "NHL 13 GM CONNECTED THREAD EVERYONE SIGN UP SOON" or "NHL 13 GM CONNECTED GENERAL TALK" It's cumbersome and annoying, I would really appreciate it if we could somehow break that up. Is such a thing possible?

Don't have that power although I will say that you aren't the first person to bring up that point.

If I had money to burn I would definitely pick up a #66 Gordon Bombay shirt. I like cool t-shirts.

Got this one recently:

So, everyone, Expendables 2 comes out this weekend.

Big news for Expendables 3. They're talking to Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes for parts, and Nicholas Cage is confirmed to be in the movie

Yes.

To start, Zanon was traded to Boston.

That was awesome.

I was away because of mourning. Now I've decided to try and move on, and look at other things. Like the possibility of a lockout. Get to work Bettman

Any advice for buying a used car? As I told you guys earlier, I totaled my ranger... will be looking to replace it...

Any advice to specific cars you guys reccomend? Places to buy the car (I am in the Twin Ports btw), things to pay attention to when buying a car?

I'm pretty green when it comes to this process, so no advice is too obvious.

Also, I plan on buying used.

Look for something within the last 6 years as banks become weary of giving out loans for cars older than '06. Personally, I like VW's. Comfortable, good handling, pretty good gas mileage. I would definitely look at the car's Carfax report. Also just as a general rule for pricing, you're suppose to subtract $2000 for every 10,000 miles on the car. Not always perfect but a good general rule of thumb.

car buying depends on what kind of used car you're getting. always better to buy from a larger dealer for peace-of-mind's sake. They have more to lose by taking a reputation hit. If you buy from an individual it's smart to pull a carfax AND get a pre-purchase inspection by a mechanic. early to mid 2000's VWs have a ton of electrical problems...really, just do normal searches for "common problems with __________".

if you have a specific model in mind and can afford the airfare you can sometimes find a better deal somewhere else in the country. There generally isn't the same premium put on cars with heated seats and AWD down south as there is here, for instance. But again, get a pre-purchase inspection before you commit to buy.

In Duluth, I would likely recommend you not purchase a VW, simply because of the specifics of the dealerships in the area. Your best bets are likely going to be up 53 as there's several dealers between Trinity and Arrowhead. Be careful about water damage though, I know that the flooding affected up by Haines road. Make sure you don't get anything that was under water.

I wouldn't be afraid to run up to Two Harbors or over to Cloquet either.
