We need more '70's/'80's, although I know it's harder to find video.

I'll suggest again Wilkins' first franchise goal (there's video).

Going with Burrows' Game 2 winner in the 2011 SCF. One of the highest moments of my life, and just a great effort in a huge game.

Burrows's goal...probably should have been ahead of Cooke's goal but whatever.

Number 9 should be either McLean's 51 save performance, or Pavel Bure's first game.

(also, I find it funny how we have McLean's 51 save performance but not Luongo's 72 save performance).

Add Morrison's triple OT goal to force Game 7 against the Flames.

As epic as that Game 1 vs. Dallas was, it's a bit of a difference from Game 1 of the SCF. And Turco also made a disgusting quantity of saves that night. I think the Rangers outshot the Canucks 2 or 3 to 1 in that opening game in '94.

But either way, I think Luongo's effort should be on the list at some stage.

There are too many things on the list that shouldn't be there. Ruutu tripping Phaneuf? What about Roger Neilson holding up a towel using Jim Nil's stick that created towel power and helped fuel our 82 SCF run? What about Trevor Linden's final game? What about Trevor Linden's GWG against Dallas in game 7 of the 2007 playoffs?

Anyone remember when Bertuzzi playing Colorado lost his stick in the corner he then kicked the puck to the front of the net and kicked it 5-hole on Roy. Everyone knew it was no goal but still celebrated. Bert had the biggest smile on his face great moment.

I picked Druken it ended the long streak of not making the playoffs.

the fact that we are on #8 & Daniel Sedin's between the legs hat trick goal hasn't been picked yet is a joke, especially over Matt Cooke's goal that extended our season for what... 3 minutes? When it comes to highlight reel goals THAT is the best in our Franchise's History.... you would think it would crack the top 5 highlights. Its pathetic that Cooke's goal is one of the highlight goals of the WCE era... I mean I'd easily put Bmo's 3 ot goal a head of it.

As meaningless as Cooke's goal was...Daniel's was as well. Very pretty though.

I would have picked a whole lot of highlights over Cooke's meaningless goal.

It certainly didn't have huge playoff like implications but that goal was one of the points that helped give Henrik (& our franchise) the Art Ross. To me it also indicates when the league finally saw how dangerous the Sedins could be.

As far as highlights go I consider it a top 5 for sure.

I will go with the greatest playoff performance by a Canuck goaltender I've ever seen
(that didn't end with a Neidermeyer goal)

Close to choosing the kickoff to an epic era in Canuck history - Bure's 1st game.
also close for me: The cherry on top of Henrik's Art Ross season - Daniel's g.

72 is a bigger number than 52. Apparently that's all that matters.
