The dedication to being good defensively will pay off for him when he signs his contract IMO. The coach will feel much better about using him in all situations.

SK could lay huge hits with his butt and has dropped the mitts a few times. He isn't soft.

Not comparing hudon and Gallagher, but comparing Gallagher with Marchand? Ive read Gallagher is small, scores, and plays with intensity, almost angry. Do they play the same style or not at all?

I think he'll be good.

I can't wait to see him in the big leagues.

The best comparaison I can think of is some kind of hybrid between Guy Carbonneau and Mike Ribeiro.

Both were rather slow and "fragile" players and needed skating lessons as should have Hudon.

He remember me of Carbonneau for his def ability and his "nose" to always be in the right place at the right moment.

He seems to have the same creativity and elusiveness that Ribeiro has.

But both Carbonneau and Ribeiro burned the Q at 18. So I expect Hudon to do the same this year. I think this is the year he lives or dies as a NHL prospect.

No it is not. He's young, he has 3 years in front of him to show us he's not worth a shot.

I don't see much similarities. Off topic a bit, I was playing golf with a few players from the WHL not long ago, amazing what they say about Gallagher from a competitors point of view. How underrated his speed and skill is, and what a difference maker he is when out there.
