The big thing people need to realize with O'Brien is that he still has the potential to be a top-flight player. Alas, it has been reported that he has been saddled with mental health issues for the past couple years (depression) and some have speculated that his on-field play has mirrored these troubles.

If Vancouver can provide a clean slate and allow him to move on then it's really a win-win. Needless to say the WhiteCaps will benefit by having an extremely solid CB not on DP status. If Saturday's match was any indication, the future looks bright for AOB.

They made an announcement during Saturday's match and received a large ovation. I imagine Wednesday's will be even bigger. Well deserved in my opinion.

1g1a for hassli in his debut. He had some nice footwork in a few spots. His assist was a nice low flick on, his goal was pretty much a garbage clean up goal.

Happy for the guy, he seemed like a good person.

Portland just scored to tie it up 2-2, TFC is not very good...

u're right. i've just been glancing at the game, thought hassli got the second goal as well but it wasn't him.
