God, I'm so disappointed. We showed absolutely no creativity whatsoever. I see more creativity when I play Fifa 13.
And what the **** was that Robson? Going for the ball and then just stop playing because you feel a slight tug on your kit? Jesus christ, buddy. Go back to the championship if you're gonna be a whiner like that. Man up and play through it. It's like you practice your Ronaldo "injustica" faces in the mirror before every game just waiting for your chance to show them off.
I am sick of this team. Rennie is a horrible soccer mind. What the heck was he thinking blowing up the team at the half way mark? The team was playing well and there were lots of likable players. Bringing in Robson and Miller were horrible mistakes and some of Rennie's lineups are just obsurd. Hope he is gone in the offseason along with most of this team. It doesn't matter if they make the postseason or not because they will be one and done.
The thing with the Caps' early season rise to respectability is that a lot of that is owed to luck -- their negative goal differential attests to that. So I somewhat believe a lot of the people (e.g. on the Southsiders' site) who don't think it's the personnel moves on their own were the team's undoing.
That said, given that they were at a respectable plateau, they found an awful lot of amazingly creative ways to drop points down the stretch. What they did almost takes conscious trying.
