A cond 1st pick in 2013 (1st if leafs make playoffs, 2nd if not)
Reasoning: with duchene and o'reilly seemingly out performing stastny he has been ulimatly moved down to 3C on their depth chart, somewhere bozak could fit perfectly in colorado. They also get a young solid D in franson who played his best hockey in the western conference with Nashville plus last years first round pick in Percy who becomes expendable to the leafs with the D drafted this year plus a possible 1st round pick. Leafs get their 1C who is a big American boy that will suite Burke.
P.S leafs depth will be a little weak on D without franson so they could sign a depth Defencman like kubina who I liked with the leafs or go a different route and trade MacArthur for a D. Or they can also just plug holzer in franson's spot.
Avalanche- not too informed with colorado so this mainly a guess
Franson is a bit of a scrap at this point and I don't like any deal where the leafs give up a first round pick. I also don't want to give up Percy. I wouldn't mind moving bozak and franson for a good centre but I cant see anyone going for that.
As a leafs fan I say I would rather not do this deal.
