Plekanec is 85, nick backstrom is 85. Holy hell.

Only thing weirder than this is that not only is Fleury 87, so is his backup. Vokoun is 87.

Sean Couturier at 77, philly fans are gonna blow up.

All in favour of waiting for first patch(only if it happens relatively quick)?

That's a given, you gotta trade kessel to get Vokoun.

To be fair though, the benefit is a LOT of people will choose different directions for their team. If i'm the leafs I am looking on building and don't sell the future for nothing. Get a UFA stopgap and try your luck I guess. Hope that Reimer has a good potential and hits like 83 in a year.

true, I see lots of great players having a hard time when I face them and they're 2 or 3. where as they're competitive 1 vs 1

but in a "season" game, where the said players would play all their game together, they'd developp enough chemistry to make it unfair to others, unless they're really bad players that is

The only problem with an all HF league is that everybody will try to tank. I'm just guiding him on the obvious HF path.

Wait, so the commissioner has a team in our league? That would be like Bettman owning the Coyotes for example...

I call rigged.

I'm in favour as long as its within 4-5 weeks after release. It would also let guys who make the teams out of NCAA be included which will help some clubs.

I can volunteer for Atlantic, but what does the job consist of primarily other than veto trades?

Not for Bozak+2nd but I have Schneider or Luongo for trade

Does anyone know if we have to be under the cap? And is there a draft after the first season for the best CHL players?

DD at 79 is a bit of a joke, and I'm not even a big fan of the guy. Emelin at 74 is kinda low too.. and Bourque at 84 but Gio at 83?

Most of the ratings are decent but Letang at 90 is confusing.

Thanks guys. I don't know all about the game yet but nothing too crazy.

If people are inactive/cheating or anything to ruin the game, it's best to have a guy from each division playing with them to see it. For instance, I'll barely see the east.

The rules are a primary concern. Many ideas and suggestions would come forward and we'll decide. Basically, the commissioner of a league is given a lot of power to the point EA included he be overthrown if necessary. If I need to be overthrown, so be it but I'd rather this league goes smoothly the FIRST time.

Perhaps i'm being a little too cautious but after playing in the infamous 6 team leagues that never finish I think i'll need some help keeping people active in a 30 team league. This could end up pretty awesome if done right so having different opinions would help.

I will put a salary cap. There will be a draft, but i'm not sure what u mean about 'best CHL players'. There's going to be the regular draft that consists of players playing in multiple continents, exactly like NHL 12 and previous versions. Only difference is it's not a live draft. If that's not what you meant, my bad.

No problem, you guys must be very close to 20 people by now. I think I counted 17 this afternoon. A few more days and you're set.

edit: i see it's at 20+ now. awesome.

Suter, Koivu, Heatley, Parise, Backstrom, Grandlund. They may not be complete but you have a lot of pieces to work with.
