Does Kessel, Phaneuf, Gardiner, one of Biggs/Stuart, and a 2014 1st sound good to FLA?

Dealmaker Donny Fehr, out!

Please don't list prices like he's is Crosby, but I know he is your top future 1C prospect.

Oh boy here we go. We just do not have the pieces to acquire Huberdeau (and still have a team with any talent).

Gardiner would be nice, just not at the cost of Huberdeau.

This thread will go nowhere fast since most would want a deal around Kessel.

Then Leaf fans will ask for Gudbranson, Bjugstad etc too, and then insults will start flying from both sides.

Huberdeau is going to be a perennial all-star....future Top 5 center .

I'd trade Myers+ for Huberdeau and Kulikov.

I see one of my fanbase saying it'll take Hub, Gud, Mark, + to get him and then it'll start that. And I don't agree on their price, as it is an OBVIOUS overpayment.

So you preface by saying JH is going to be a perennial all-star, then propose a sophomore slumped defeceman for the perennial all-star AND a stud-young d-man?

Did I get that right?

FWIW the media here for Hockey sucks, but, I think the Panthers will play him at Left wing at least to start his NHL Career.

Let him bulk up and learn how to be a complete player before trying him at center.

From what I have seen propects like Huberdeau rarely get traded before the are given a chance by the teams that draft them. The rare time that I have seen it happen it was when one team was trading for a player they thought could push them over the top and the other team may hve viewed the player going the other way a bit of a problem.

Maybe it is just me, but I don't see anything that would make sense between these teams.

A guy like Getzlaf if the Ducks can't re-sign him by the deadline would probably be available for the right price.

Do not have the pieces for Huberdeau, Bjugstad would be a more reasonable target.

Yes, but, GL convincing any Panther fan, me included, to trade off Bjugstad.

He is our #1 center prospect. Add in his height/frame, we want the moon for him too

I'm a big fan of both of these players, but I think they are expendable...

I think Lupul + Gardiner would be more then enough, but I don't know if that is me under-rating Huberdeau?

I just think these two players are at least somewhat replaceable with players like JVR, Kadri, and Rielly in the system.

I'd prefer Gardiner+ top 6 forward (MacA+, JVR?, Kuli?)

Which side would have to add to that?

No need to laugh. If you read it, I said BASED around. I was unsure of what the + would have to be, obviously it would need to be big, im not an idiot. But if my memory serves me correct, NOBODY WANTS Bozak, Grabo, Kulemin, MacArthur or any of them for the simple fact that they aren't worth it unless you get them cheap. I would much rather get rid of Kadri, but it's obvious that Toronto fans are way too hard for him, and nobody else wants him.

Colborne, 2013 2nd, 2014 1st, 2014 2nd? More/less?

Florida just isn't going to trade their depth at center.

I don't recall that franchise ever having this kind of depth at center.
