Not really a fair poll for Rask. Hasn't even been a starter full time yet. It has to be Price because he's already shown what he can do.

This is going to be the 3rd time have voted in a poll asking this question on these boards. I voted once for each of them and even though I am a Bruins fan I am going to have to say Price right now. Rask hasn't done as much so I consider Price to be a much safer bet, but as far as a goltender who is having the #1 spot turned over to him you can't do much better than Rask.

I pick Price but I wouldn't say it's impossible for Rask to be better.
Habs fan voting Price, but I don't think it'd be impossible for Rask to land in a starting job somewhere next season and at least put up better stats than Price, for example. I'd go with Price, obviously (safest bet so far), but this is hardly an "AINEC" situation, imo.

I agree.

With Thomas going insane, Rask will finally have his chance in 2012-13. Right now I vote Price but Rask also has all the tools to become a top G.

No reason to go against Price, but don't be surprised if Rask gives him a run for his money this year.

I could see them being very close in a few years, so I wimped out and went with equal.

Wouldn't be surprising, the Bruins are a better hockey team at the moment.

The only thing Price has on Rask is draft position.

I voted equal because we haven't seen enough of Tuukka to know .

I like Price but I believe/ hope that Rask will be very good too.

I guess with Timmy missing we will see more of Tuukka IF we have hockey this season.

Two great goalies.
This again

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Rask even have a season or two when he is better than Price over there career.

Big test for Rask this year, taken over the starting role. Who is Boston planning on having as there backup. I hope its a vet, and not another young guy.

Put Chara and the Bruins defensive system in front of Price and there's the Vezina. Wouldn't be surprised if Rask has better stats, but he's also on the vastly superior team that does bump goalies stats.

They are slightly more defensively minded IMO. So assuming there is a season, Rask does have some advantages, but right now its Price AINEC.

This post doesn't make sense. Price has shown himself to be an elite goaltender at the NHL level. Rask, while possessing great potential, has not proven much of anything as of yet. It's fine to think that Rask may one day prove to be the better goaltender, because that is very possible, but as of right now, the only thing Rask has on Price is approximately five months in age.
