I'm going to go with Buffalo on this one. I think it will be relatively close between #6-#11 or so this year, but I see Buffalo being on the ice rather than the golf course at the start of the playoffs.
though I'm not counting on huge seasons offensively out of some of their guys that produced a lot last year. But I think they have the depth and the defense to remain a threat (actually I think they could take that division if Boston falters post-Thomas)
I'm going Buffalo as well. I think they REALLY did themselves a favor by picking Grigs and Girgs in the draft. My guess is one of them will make the team, as Grigs just needs to put on a little more muscle and by my understanding Girgs is fairly NHL-ready as well (and both are under contract). This means they'll have no true #1 center, but they never really had that anyway in Roy, and between Hodgson, Ennis, Grigorenko, Girgensons, and Ott, they will be VERY good down the middle. Basically, I'm looking at their NHL 30-in-30 projected lineup, and adding one of Grigs or Girgs to the mix. They're gonna be good, not to mention their pretty solid D and ability to add more firepower when they decide to trade Enroth.
