If the rosters aren't editable or updateable, we need to wait until a proper roster update before launching the league. There's still plenty of roster errors which will surely be fixed and ratings/potential misjudgments which will hopefully be changed (ahem, Silfverberg).
Edit: this is in response to benjiv wanting to send invites tonight, which I assume follows the league's creation.

I agree to some extent. From previous games there usually is a tuner set/roster update within the first week or two after release.
Considering there are players who aren't getting the game until the end of the week, there should be a 2/3 week period before the league starts so everyone in the league can get the game and get a feel for it and their players.
I know there are some impatient people who want this league to start less than 24 hours of public release, but I think the majority of GM's would be in favor of a 2 week trial period of the game.

Pretty much. I know everyone is eager to launch into it, but if we're in for the long haul we might as well wait for proper rosters and settings before committing to a year-long project.

I am in favor of this. We must at least wait until the first roster update and for everyone to get the game, that will be at least a week. It wouldn't be fair to start the league up until everyone gets the game.
I typed up a new thread. May I post it now or should I wait until we hit 1000?
Benjiv1, if you want to make the thread yourself, then just tell me and go right ahead. I just have nothing better to do so I thought I might as well do this now.

Go ahead and post if you like.
If you could include a couple of the following notes (in Bold, or really large), that would be great:
-Add my gamertag SuicideBlonde to your friends list, and once I can confirm a majority of the participants have the game / the first update is released, I will start the league.
-Injuries On
-Trades are not official until completed in game. I will not hold anyone to trades they made prior to the games release. (except my own LOL)
