When people think of Anderson, it's several years away from now when perhaps he'll be declining, that's when we hope Lehner steps in and takes the #1 spot.

In Anderson we hoped that he would repeat his great Avalanche performance and he has, it's good to feel confident in a goalie once again. Lehner to me has always sounded mature but sometimes lets his temper show.

Not including the playoffs, Anderson has provided this team with .919 SV% goaltending.

The guy has been awesome.

What's the league average, and is that just last year or does it include his stint the previous year?

Anyway, can't went for Lehnzies to be the go-to guy, he has the Emery swagga...

This seems like a post where you're looking for a way to criticize Anderson. The guy has been awesome for us and has finally solidified the goalie position for us going forward. Anderson has in-net swagger and presence backed by his play on the ice. He'll be our starter for the next few years at the very least, he's a better goaltender than Lehner, best get used to that.

Emery had a ton of swagger, wasn't that great a goalie...

When I read a post like this it makes me wonder how long it will take for you to turn on Lehner.... I mean, if you're already looking to poke holes in Anderson's numbers, regardless of his obvious excellent goaltending for our team, I doubt anyone will be good enough for long...

Perhaps I read the tone of your post wrong, but it fits with your usual style...

Robin was spotted blowing bubbles in his chocolate milk at a Denny's in Messena. Very immature, I'm concerned about his future with the team.

It was hot chocolate bro. He was trying to cool it down with bubbles. Quick thinking. He's got a real solid future with that kind of decision making.

Anderson has so much swagger, he cuts himself to make a point.

"Hmmm...I'm not liking the goalie depth on this team if I was to get hurt. I better do something about it."

ah man that is so true. Without a doubt he was the one signing that I was absolutely ecstatic about but what a disappointment in the end. Fek him

haters gonna hate.

Lehner can already compete at the NHL level and we've seen what he can do. Been the best goalie at camp the last 2 seasons. The only thing that kept him from being consistent at the AHL level, IMO is his attitude.

Now that he looks like he's taken care of that, I wouldn't be surprised to see him be in the top 5 goalies in the A (I think it's fair to expect this from him).

It's only a bad thing to have the idea in your head that you are too good for a minor league if you are NOT, in fact, too good for the minor league. We'll probably find out soon enough whether it's justified confidence or a distorted reality.

If it works out, his attitude could be his best quality in the nets. But yes, of course it needs to be channeled appropriately.

I like Anderson a lot, and it seems that Lehner is willing to continue his journey and leaving it in the hands of the staff, I think this is all "winning"
