I would trade Vokoun instead. In NHL 12, they had the same trade value, so if your going to be playing for a bunch of years, it will be more valuable to keep fleury, who is younger. That's just my opinion though.

Yeah man I know what your sayin. Fleury is the better choice to keep around no doubt. I just think in NHL 13 Vokouns trade value will be nowhere near Fleurys. I wanna add a Brad Marchand type player to the bottom six. I think it would really solidify the bottom six and make this team more deadly than they already are.
Neal is actually 84 which is pretty ****in ridiculous. But hey, they put both Tavares and Paul Martin as an 85 so I guess you can expect anything from them.

And Datsyuk is tied with Crosby with a 95 overall and Ovechkin is better than Geno at 93 to 91 overall
It's funny that Sid has a better defensive awareness than Datsyuk too haha
I guess they changed what affects overalls this year, but every year I shake my head....neal an 84? Really? How much better of a season can a RW have in todays nhl? Geno down from 93-91? How? And I hate editing ratings cuz I feel like a cheater.
Hey again guys. I made a thread a couple weeks ago about named "Flyers fan coming in peace". Im sorry to bother you all again lol, but I want some critics to check out my gameplan for the Pens in NHL 13.
I wanna trade Vokoun for a top 6 forward and maybe a pick.
I wanna sign a Depth forward to strengthen the bottom six, preferably a veteran.
My untouchables are Crosby,Letang,Malkin,Neal,Fleury
Why trade Fleury? He's younger and has the same rating as Vokoun, I'd keep both and if you were to trade one, trade Vokoun.
It frees up around 3M in salary and you can generally get a good return for him in a top 6 winger and/or top 4 dman. And the goalie position is not that important in NHL games. Its more important to have more offense or defense than a goal tender in the game.

what do you all think?
Like him or not, but you gotta get Sid out on your 1st line in a video game. Even if you wanna say he's 1B in real life, you want your 95 player getting a lot of ice time. If you are playing manual lines it won't make a difference but I find when I play auto Geno doesn't get nearly enough ice time as my 2nd liner. It's really annoying!
Also, I want to see where they slighted Geno in his ratings. Looking at the Sid card, does it really say he's a 89 speed and on the other hand, a 95 defensive awareness. I'd probably switch those two numbers. Sid is a pretty friggen fast player.
Real world scouting doesn't mean much in a video game where you can compare two players and look down the list and compare their shooting, checking, skating, stamina, and positioning with players being rated in each subcategory on a scale of 1-100.
