Yeah it was supposed to be the IU logo... Haven't quite figured out the settings on this board yet.

Yeah I go to USI, but I'm still an IU fan. A lot of my friends from high school go there.

(Real) Name: Jason
Age: 39
Age you act: late 20s (everybody seems to think I'm late 20s-early 30s, so why not?)
Sex: M
Birthplace: Johnstown
Where you live: about 5 min from downtown Pittsburgh, and that includes if the Ft. Pitt tunnel is backed up.
Distinguishing Physical Characteristic: nothing. I'm rather average looking.
Nationality: Russian/Italian
Mode of Transportation: 2009 Audi A4
Job: Tier 2 Tech Support
College Attended/Attending: small community college back home. considering going back, but obviously not to the same place.

How you became a Penguins fan: Watching games on WPGH 53, or channel 8 back home.
Favorite Penguins Player: former - Mario, current - Sid
Favorite Penguins prospect: Despres
Favorite NON Penguins Player: Teemu
Favorite piece of Penguins paraphernalia (souvenir): geez, where do I start? I'm gonna go with Dupuis' game-worn skates only because they were (or I guess still are) comfortable. If he hasn't signed them, I'd still be skating them.
Favorite piece of non-Penguins paraphenilia: UK Slap Shot poster, signed by 15 cast members including the Hanson Brothers.
Hockey Jerseys In Wardrobe: LOL, way too many to list. I'll go with the signed ones: Mario (home 2000s), Sid (original WC), Cooke (team issued home), Orpik (away #29), Despres (#4 from his first rookie camp), Rob Brown (away, 80s, white mesh). My favorites would be either the signed Mario or the two game-worn Chiefs jerseys that I have from their original season. Depending on who you ask, I overpaid for them but it's an item that I was searching for several years and I could easily make my money back if I resold them.

Video Game Systems Owned: PS3, Wii, PS2, PC. I also still have my OG Atari 2600 in storage with about 30 games. I'm gonna hook that thing up to my 55" one day just for the lulz.
Favorite Game(s): Grand Theft Auto series, Guitar Hero, any NHL games
Music/Bands You Like: 80s punk, drum and bass, 90s alternative. Anything beyond that is hit and miss.
Favorite Movie(s): Slap Shot, Usual Suspects, Glengarry Glen Ross, Falling Down
Favorite TV Show: not really sure I have one. If it wasn't for sports channels, I'd probably cancel my cable.
Favorite Food: Chicken
Most Interesting/Unusual Person/Entity You Follow on Twitter:
L'il Jon has retweeted me several times, I've talked to Mike Vallely (skateboarder and former Danbury Whaler) quite a few times, and I used to be followed by @pghpenguins. I've also been banhammered by the following people: @greenlife52, @damospin, @nickelback, and @ESPN.

Anything Else: nah, that about covers it.

I used to play your school at Ultimate Frisbee Tournaments back in college. I think someone almost got in a fight every time; they were a bunch of dooshes. I've played against probably 100 different teams and they are easily the one I disliked the most.

haha that's funny. One of my roommates was on the team. The few guys I knew other than him were dooshes. My roommate looked like a Leprechaun. Red curly haired irishman. Where'd you go to school? For some reason I'm thinking St. Vincent.

yep SVC. I honestly don't remember any specific people at this point. Just that they were *******s. And they were good too, so that just made it worse. Its easier to ignore dooshes when the games aren't super close. Every year we would play them at IUP even though we would only play like 5 of 20 teams.

Yeah they took it pretty seriously. I tried playing intramural with them and they had all these systems in place. I didn't realize ultimate frisbee was that organized.

oh ya its intense. It always surprised people when we actually had systems and stuff. The worst thing to do was to seriously use them during things like IM and random pickup games though. We scared away so many potential players because the guys running the team at the time wanted every pickup game to be a serious practice. "Everyone stop! Hey freshman girl, you're in the wrong spot! guys we're doing a drill." Notice I don't have names, because I never saw them again

Yeah exactly haha. I quit the intramural team because all they wanted me to do was be a runner (I don't know any terminology) and run straight up the field and straight back, then catch the frisbee, let the passer run up to me and drop the frisbee back to him and do it all over again.

if you have an athlete that doesn't know the game, that's the best spot for them for sure. We recruited our share of cross country runners and that's where we put them at tournaments. But unless you are in a really competitive environment, its stupid to worry about putting people in the best spot.
