And here we go. I like it.
hehe, we knew that was coming. It would be a good destination for him for quite a few reasons too. Good team, low pressure, good coaching, good atmosphere, etc. He will be put in a role where he can be successful as well more than likely.

Yup, Galiardi-Gomez-Wingels honestly looks a million times better then if Handzus or Desi was there
Was Robinson on the coaching staff in his early days in NJ?

Yah, plus Gomez filling in for top 6 players feels a ton better than Wingels, Burish, Handzus, etc.

Report from @sungarrioch says #SJSharks have tendered offer for Scott Gomez. Checking to see what folks here have to say.

Is Gomez still fast at all? I know he was injured but has it greatly impacted his speed?

He was head coach the year the Devils won the Cup and Gomez the Calder. Good sign imo.

BobbyMac did not mention SJ in his tweet yesterday:

As many as 6 including #devils #canes #isles "@SunGarrioch: Not sure how many teams are in on UFA S. Gomez but #sharks have tendered offer."

Maybe Garrioch will get this one right

If you really think about it, Gomez would be a good signing for San Jose. Cheap add to the bottom 6, small market, a lot of things seem like they could work for him here. Wonder if he has any interest in playing in the Pacific Division though.

Now, how funny would it be if the franchise's first real FA signing that had any interest from other teams was Scott Gomez?
