On the bright side for Leaf fan, saying "you have not made the playoffs since the lockout" won't be quite as insulting in about 4 months.

I'll have to think of something else.

Two lockouts ago?

I'd rather think about how the B's can take advantage of another trade with the leafs.
Best to do it soon, in case Burke's reign comes to an end during or at end of year.

We won the cup with Kaberle so I dont care what was given up for him.

As for Kessel, no one cares, we got the future of the franchise in that deal, and kessel is a useless overrated blob.

I think blob is one of the better adjectives I've heard Phil Kessel be called

as a Leafs fan i thought it would be interesting to see what you guys would choose

Kessel and Rask
or
Seguin, Hamilton, Knight and Raycroft

both deals are so horribly great for the bruins but i thought this was an interesting way to at least get bruins perspective on it.

I don't think a lot of Leafs fans know how good Seguin is and how good he's going to be.

But Kessel is the best player in the trade right now, they won the trade easily.

"I wouldn't trade Kessel for Seguin, Hamilton, Knight, Rask, Chara, and Bergeron put together.

The kid is easily the second best player in the NHL, just behind Crosby."

Why YES, this was sincerely posted on the internet.

That is true, but saying they haven't made the playoffs since 2 lockouts ago doesn't sound any better.

Edit to explain that this was part of a three-way deal involving the Leafs, Walton's team going into the trade (amidst the activity, Leafs got Bernie Parent in the same trade).

horrible trade, Mick. MacLeish was told he would not be traded and was the hier to Bucyk. Ughhhh....they could have won without Walton, and with MacLeish on Boston they likely win in 74 and 75 and more years. Come on, that trade still makes me puke. Well, atleast they made Eagleson and the Hockey Campers happy.

Worst. Trade. Ever.

Neither. One other benefit is seeing Hab fans go nuts when you mention the Kessel and Raycroft deals.

If I had to choose 1, I choose the Kaberle deal. Really though I wouldn't take either one back.
