Homeland casting news, I'll put this in spoilers just in case:
Spoil:
F. Murray Abraham (Scarface) will join the Showtime series in its second season, as first reported by EW. A 20th Century Fox Television rep confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that he'll play the part of Dar Adul, a "brilliant" CIA operative whose been with the organization for years.
shame to reference
Spoil:
F. Murray Abraham's role in Scarface to the exclusion of his role in Amadeus.
Most TV shows save these kinds of colossal revelations for later episodes or even season finales. But not Homeland. Brody telling his wife that he's a Muslim almost pales in comparison to tonight's ending.
Off the top of my head, I'd say Blind Spot was perhaps the best episode of the entire series, but this one may change my mind.
I actually kinda didn't like a decent amount of this episode. I thought it milled around a little too much in the middle. However, the strong scenes (Carrie and Saul on the roof, the Abu Nazir mission, and the ending) more than made up for it. Great stuff there, but a so-so episode other than that. I don't really like any scenes that involve Brody and Mike, and I felt like after last week's bombshell with Jessica they didn't really put enough of her in the episode about her relationship with Brody. Instead it was her getting deeper with the wealthy parts of Washington.
But yeah, like I said the great scenes in this episode made up for the so-so ones.
Claire Danes has to be one of the top actors on television today. I think she's up there with Jon Hamm, and if she keeps this up, perhaps even Bryan Cranston.
So, I mean..unless Saul dies, Brody's cover is blown. I don't think there is anyway that happens just yet. Still though, Saul must have a reason not to send the Brody clip right then and there over to the CIA HQ. For whatever reason, he must decide to keep the info to himself for awhile. I think Galvez is the mole, and will end up intercepting the information from Saul, and will then alert Brody. I got a mole vibe from Galvez in the first episode of this season, when he interrupted Este's meeting with Brody to tell Estes that the reporter was insisting to talk to him. The way he looked at Brody before shutting the door, and just the fact that he was so insistent that Estes go talk with her.
Then again, Galvez knew about the plan to kill Abu Nazir, so perhaps he isn't a mole since he would have alerted Nazir himself.

She really is. She plays her part perfectly.
Can't beat the first two episodes of the season so far! Just been fantastic. If Carrie ever finds out she was right about Brody then she'll get some much needed peace of mind. I would think Saul would send this type of information to the CIA right away but I guess we'll see.
I don't think they will confront Brody immediately. They'll try to use him to get to Abu Nazir through surveillance, manipulation or something. I don't think they would kill Saul off and confronting Brody would ruin their chances of getting to Nazir.
