Looks like the Petes really outplayed the Wolves tonight, but Beech was awesome. Dick Todd is a great coach and very underrated but I think that he should have picked up a proven goalie at the deadline. I think that could have really improved their team, and possibly given them the honours of being the team to beat in the east. How things are right now, the East is extremely clogged up.

And Todd sure enough picked a great game to notch win #500 in a 6-2 win over the London Knights. He has got the Petes playing some amazing hockey lately, but the real story throughout the league now is the actions in this game.

First off, London's new goalie Adam Dennis and the Petes Jeff MacDougald got into a scrap and Dennis dropped his counterpart then helped him up and hugged him for show...class act. The video is here: http://www.petesvideos.com/Mac_Vs_Dennis.wmv

Second, what should have been a great main event of a fight turned to a fizzle when Kelly Thompson and Patrick Kaleta dropped. Thompson ended up stuck inside his jersey and not much happened. http://www.petesvideos.com/Kaleta_Vs_Thomson.wmv

And the last, and probably funniest part of this game didn't even happen on the ice. A London Knights scratch was involved in an altercation with a Petes fan. Now, the video cant completely crucify the Knights player (who I believe was Jeff Whitfield) so keep an open mind before ragging on him.

Enjoy!
