Well, 1st place isn't determined by WR rankings. I have a stable of stallions at RB, that's why my team is good and consistent.

Bears D isn't gonna do what it's been doing for him every week.

I know... I'm not saying he needs stud WRs, but some balance wouldn't hurt.

I think we'll just found out who was better this week...

This league is all very close. If I'd scored 2 more points week 1, people would probably be saying I have the best team. It's all very up for grabs at the moment.

Definitely... still like my team, not as a favorite, but certainly a contender. Just need some mediocre TE play on a weekly basis, nothing special, and one RB to step it up.

**** you, Doug Martin. Can't be mad at DeMarco, that coaching staff has no idea what they're doing.

Definitely, with the short season and parity so far, everyone has a shot. However, the most important aspect of this league is going to be Points Forward and it can't be overstated. The way things look, we could very easily see as many as 4 or 5 teams tied for the final playoff spot and only one making it through.

In my other league, I'm taking all of the bye week blow in one week, have Brees, Jones-Drew and Marshall on bye. So this is basically a hail mary to try to get a win. It's a 12 team league and most of the teams have carried 2 QBs all year. I have the rest of my roster planned out but I need to pick a QB.

Options are:

Fitzpatrick @ Arizona
Bradford @ Miami
Freeman vs. Kansas City
Weeden vs. Cincinnati
Sanchez vs. Indy

They're brutal, I know.

Right now, I'm leaning Freeman, followed by Fitzpatrick and Weeden. Weeden is a pretty interesting option. The guy is putting up big yardage every week and seems to be building a report with Gordon. He's probably has the best potential, biggest risk. Freeman seems like a really safe option that won't kill me nor will win the week for me. Fitzpatrick is the best player but he also faces the toughest D and has been inconsistent.

Thoughts?

I feel like you're only saying that because you're leading there.

Still too early to worry about tiebreaks, just win games...

Yeah, I've never seen more than 2 teams tied for the last spot...

It's because after this week, we are halfway through the season. Hopefully some separation happens in the second half but if it is anything like it is now, multiple teams are going to just miss.

Absolutely. Must win for HawksFan74... and huge match between myself and Romers, being we're both 2-3. Going to take a lot of luck for the loser of our match to sniff the playoffs.

I've only had the bears D for 2 weeks, Dallas game and Jacksonville. I was rotating before that and I won by far more than just the defensive points I put up. I'm on my honeymoon so don't really think ill be doing anything with my team this week other than switching starters.

I understand, just saying that they put up a ton of defensive points in both those games, thus inflating your point totals.

I suppose, but I picked them up at the right time as a strategic move. I knew Romo would be pressured all night and knew he's a turnover machine when he's pressured a lot, so it was a wise pickup which anyone could have made off the wire. I got lucky how many points they got, but I made the right move so its not all luck.

Gotta put yourself in a situation to score points with defense and a kicker every week.

I'm not faulting you at all, pretty sure I had a claim in as well.

Sorry if I am talking up my team too much but it hasn't gotten one iota of respect from anyone. It's been laughed at, called complete garbage, no depth, etc. Well, we shall see is what I say because I've scored the most points and fact is, I gift wrapped that game to IU, dumb on me. But you have to recover and move on. James Jones is exactly what my team needed, he's played like a WR1 all year and Jennings doesn't look to be getting healthy any time soon. Just wish I had picked him up a week earlier but what can you do.

How in the world did you 'gift wrap' me the game? Not like you had the points to win it on the bench or something. Please, I must know how me beating you didn't have anything to do with my team simply playing better that week. Hell, I probably should've won by more, Foster and Gonzales each had their some of their poorest performances of the year, not to mention getting nothing from the Falcons. And if the Texans don't score twice, it's a blow out.

Many you'd get a bit more respect if you were a little bit less arrogant...

Receivers got like 3 points total, I started a couple of complete bums. All I've been thinking reading your posts about how you should be 5-0, 4-1, whatever, is how god damn arrogant YOU ARE. Seriously, take your cheap win and shut up about it.

That wasn't meant to praise my team, I just trying to give a little perspective on something.
