That said, Caporusso will be in some European Div 2 league in a couple years (I guarantee it), and Cowick certainly has a very good chance to be a top line player in the AHL, he plays the AHL style pretty well.
If I could rank the guys at the bottom, I think the worst are Costello, Caporusso, and Downing.

Peltz needs to be in that group. And I don't think Cowick will be a top line AHL player. He plays the game well, but does not have the skill. He might be able to carve out a career for himself, but it will not be as a scoring threat, nor will it be in the NHL.

He's certainly a scoring threat IMO. I think his skill is actually pretty amazing, almost NHL quality, and certainly good in the AHL. He's a great natural goal scorer. Not a dangler type player, but he's VERY good at putting the puck in the net given the opportunity.
Cowick's flaws come out with his questionable team play, and an attitude that is also very questionable at times. In the AHL, the playing style is much different than the NHL, as it's more of a bump and run and grinding league than a dipsy doodle league that is more prevalent in the NHL. Cowick's good at the grinding and scoring part, so I think he'll be able to put up 25-30 goals in the AHL one day.

Maybe you're right. You've probably seen him more than I have, so I guess you would know better.
