Hasn't been a terrific season in the majors for Raonic. Hopefully he can make some headway here.

I'm going off the board () and predicting Fed vs. Nole in the final.

Back to a one match loss streak now. Lopez beat him 2 and 3.

Mayer also snapped Thomas Muster's 17 match loss streak. Clearly the guy just likes to spoil record attempts. I'm all for pretending it didn't happen. Anything for Don's glory.

Pulling for Murray and Del Potro, if it comes down to Feds and Nole , def. prefer Roger to win

Wow Pospisil lost to a borderline challenger player. Disappointing.

Am I wrong for thinking that even though he's only the 3rd ranked American, Mardy Fish is playing the best tennis out of them right now? That might just be an impression colored by some good matches of his and not reflected in the results, but it feels that way.

Would agree with this, back to back quarter finals in Toronto and Cincy. His ranking just dropped because he did even better at those tournaments last year so he lost those points he didn't protect. I thought he played pretty well vs Federer last week.

Not good for his ranking either, as he had some real points to defend after making the second round last year.

Federer-Young first round. Federer-Murray in the same half. Berdych in Fed's quarter. Good god. I think we can stop pretending Fed benefits from the draw rigging now. Goffin playing Berdych first round. **** that. Del Potro in Djokovic's quarter and playing Nalbandian first round. Uhh. Murray-Tsonga. Fish would be Federer's fourth round opponent. Ferrer-Tipsarevic in the same quarter. Raonic playing Giraldo first round. Good for him.

He made a comeback in 2010 and 2011. Went something like 2-25 including Challenger results.

They just released the link to the full draw.

Haha. Gulbis-Haas first round. Just noticed that. Baker would likely play Tipsarevic if he made the second round. The draw riggers were kind to Roddick as well. Raonic would play Murray in the R16, but he has a very nice draw to get there. Granollers is the other seed in his section.

I take what I said before about draw and Federer back. If Novak can get past Del Potro (probably the toughest QTF match) he should be in the finals. You never know though.

Murray vs. Fed should be fun. Hopefully, Murray doesn't get out before.

Safe to say that this is a bad time for Ernests to run into Tommy, though you never know.

Good thing nobody would ever believe that there is a conspiracy in support of David Ferrer. What a cupcake quarter for him.

I just saw a tweet regarding DP. He has ligament damage in his wrist and thinks he can play. That doesn't bode well.

Got about 5 different futures/bets going with the sportsbooks for this. My two favourite ones are Isner to make the finals on the men's side and Kerber to make the finals on the women's side, both at 33:1. I do like picking longshots.

Those aren't bad bets all things considered. Isner has a pretty reasonable shot at making it to the semi-finals, so basically you are betting on the longshot chance that he can either beat Nole, or (probably more likely) someone else beats Nole first and Isner can then beat that person (say, JMDP).
