There might be a lockout for a brief time, but I don't think they'll miss any games.

Think it will be similar to the NBA. Have talks come down to the wire, cancel a few games but play on starting sometime around Christmas.

I don't see a deal happening until the owners improve revenue sharing and the players give some contract concessions. That won't happen until games are missed. I'm thinking there will be a 40-60 game regular season and a full Stanley Cup playoffs.
