How many games for Reimer/Scrivens?

How many games can Reimer carry the team for, and how many games can Scrivens carry the team for?

For example:
Reimer: 35 games (17-12-5)
Scrivens: 15 games (6-6-3)

23-18-8 = 54 points for 50GP That would be good enough for 8th/9th spot in Early February; and then trade for a UFA veteran goalie around the deadline for cheaper assets and better options.

Gives us a chance to see our young goalies, and trade for one if need be. Goalie issues solved!

IF the season starts relatively on time(say by november) then i can agree with those numbers.

I see us honestly trading for Luongo or another goalie by the deadline, once people realize Reimer is not a true starter that can carry this team.

I'd be happy with either Huet or Theodore if we dont get Luongo(and he goes to Florida).

Really hoping for Luongo though, we can truly be competitive with him in net for the next few years.

I'd rather go with the devils we don't know.

I honestly think Burke is going to trade for luongo but wait for the new cba agreement so he can see if there's anything in the new agreement that would help with luongos contract like a clause that lets the team walk away from a player after 5 years or something.

P.s that was a completely random example lmao. I know it's stupid but I couldn't think of another example

i would be shocked if the leafs played the full season with this duo
riemer/scrivens will see a max of 20 total games combined

If it's a combination of more than 30, we are in big trouble.

Reimer isn't an NHL starter and Scrivens is a complete wildcard.

Prepare to be shocked then. I don't think there's any hesitation on part of the Leafs brass to roll with Reimer and Scrivens for at least the first half of the season, to see if a) Reimer can rebound, b) Scrivens is the real deal or c) if a vet is necessary to bring in afterwards.

It has been confirmed by Leafs’ management that they will look to add a veteran goaltender in the off-season. "

Yep, NO hesitation whatsoever. If they've moderated the urgency lately, its only because A) we haven't found anyone and want to look okay with these two question marks b) we want a potential trading partner to actually believe we are okay with these two question marks.

And Burke is on record saying the team we see today is not the team he's taking into the season.

Burke's going to correct his problems.

I will be stunned if it's Reimer/Scrivens to start the year, and it will represent a colossal failure if we are forced to and could well be the end of Burke.
