2012 Draft class prominent in Fall edition of Washington Capitals? Top 20

The Washington Capitals used the 2012 NHL draft as an opportunity to restock their prospect pool by adding 10 new players. Among the new additions are a mix of players who should have an impact in the next couple years, along with some longer term projects.



Out of the Capitals 10 draft picks, six make their debut on the organization's Top 20 list. They players are mixed in with NHL ready prospects who will soon graduate off this list.

I read through Kuznetsov and Holtby and then couldn't read any more. I want to be nice, but really, just terrible as always. That such minimal skill is required to get a paid writing job continues to amaze me.

Edit: I obviously don't just mean the writing though. Compare these with the Hockey Prospectus rankings posted in the prospects thread, for example. Those clearly indicate a basis for each ranking and reflect that actual research was done to assess each player, whereas these show no sign of anything close. They could be completely arbitrary, or basically copied from another site, and we wouldn't know from reading them.

8.0 C and 7.5 B are basically the same thing

and kuznetsov should be a 8.5 C based on other teams prospects

I don't think HF Staff watches KHL games.

Calling Kuzya a strong skater is a understatement, he's easily one of the best or maybe the best skaters out there, its completely effortless looking, but so fast and his lateral movement is great too.
