Top 2nd Line Centre in Northeast

Best 2nd Line centre in the Atlantic is undoubtably E. Malkin...

Who is best in the Northeast?

(I used the centre with the second most even strength ice time last season)

Probably easier if they're named. I'd go;

Krejci
Grabovski
Desharnais
Turris
Hodgson(?)

No idea whats going on with Buffalo's center depth chart since Roy and Gaustad left. I assume it's either Hodgson or Leino.

EDIT: Well that list is certainly different.

I think you should establish who the 1st Line Center for each team is.

Bergeron?

..............Hecht is likely retired.

If you have to "rank" centers, Buffalo's probably look like:

1A.) Ennis (played on a line with a ton of chemistry)
1B.) Hogdson (likely to open with Vanek and Pominville, so maybe CoHo is the #1 with Ennis the #2?)

3.) Ott????????

4.) No friggin idea...........

I don't think Lindy Riff knows either right now.

DK is an absolutely phenomenal centre. He's the definition of a money player who turns it up in the playoffs. I'll never understand why some Boston fans on HF always throw him into proposals.

I'd take Krejci. Pleks right behind him. Technically, Bergeron is our 2nd line center too. But he only plays on the 2nd line, he's without a doubt our #1...

Why is Turris not Ottawa's option?

Why is ottawa's 3rd/4th center their number 2?

I see ottawa's depth chart as:
spezza, turris, regin*,smith,o'brien with zibanejad* passing smith soon

* indicates can be moved to wing

According to TOI...second line centers are:

Grabovski
krejci
hecht lol
desharnais
Turris

Smith was 4th in center TOI per game. Not second.

I'd go:

Krejci/grabovski
grabovski/krejci
desharnais
turris
hecht

I get the sense that you are trying to imply something with the bolded part of this post. Not sure what or why though.

But he's right. Who cares if it's Turris or Smith or whoever. IMO Krejci is the clear answer here. Plekanec behind him, Grabovski behind Plekanec. Then a pretty big gap.

I vote Boston; whomever.

Plekanec and Grabovski are both the best centers for their teams, no matter what line they play on. They don't count as the option for me.
