{XBOX} NHL 13 Be a GM online thread (All xbox NHL13 talk)
So just like the PS3 thread lets start an Xbox one. I'll keep the same rules as the other one to keep the leagues the same. Hopefully we can get 30 teams but 15-20 is ideal too. Post the team you'd like and i'll update nightly. The game comes out Sept 11 so we have some time.
Please set up a trade block after you have selected a team and post it in this thread. Trade offers will be through PM between the two GM's in trade talks. Draft picks will be the team's authentic and current draft picks. .
Here is my trade block and an example of what to do for it. Once all 30 are posted i will post the link to it here to make it easier to find in this thread.
- 1 Season lasts a month usually not all 82 games played user vs user - some games will be simmed with your coaching strategies to move the season faster
- Trades must be somewhat realistic and beneficial for each team. i.e trading a bunch of AHLers for a star player is not allowed. That's cheating the entire league not just the one team. Trades will be reviewed by me to oversee this and if you don't agree with my ruling the entire league will vote on it. I'm not strict i just don't want to see three bottom sixers traded for Giroux etc. Also, if you and another GM confirm a trade on here before the game is released and then refuse to make the trade you will be kicked out, sorry I gotta do it. Be 110% sure before confirming a trade.
- All playoff games will be played, not simmed
- Once two GM's agree on a trade, please pm me and i will confirm it

Myself and a couple buddies will be looking to take the Bruins to the Cup season after season in this league! And apologies to the posters playing as a rival, but we'll take it to you a little bit extra.
If we get too many people that want to join I will gladly let someone be an assistant GM with me and I believe we can have multiplayer games so they could play the games with me
New skating engine will take a bit to get used to. Defensive AI is much better, hard to get passes through, hopefully that doesn't lead to all figure skating.

I'm enjoying it, but I agree about the passing. Though I had the same complaint in 11 and it ended up being fine.
How is this going to work? Seasons are a month long, do we keep doing seasons after the first is done? Will young players have a chance to grow? That will be big for a guy like Skinner, Seguin or Hall.
