Just played my first online game... it was soo slow and choppy.. i feel like i suck really bad. i can barely turn out there... the only thing i seem to do well is bat the puck out of the zone. Hopping into DR now

I need my stanley cup boosts. The new skating engine + terrible skating stats = crap skating.

Sry about that last game guys.. especially to Anton and Solid... it was my first game, and i got beat to the outside like 3 times easily.. I seriously feel like i'm going in slow motion out there. I'm going to buy the +5 boosts in speed acc, and agility. Might play otp to level up a bit. Atleast 10 games to unlock that first card for me so i don't hurt the team.

Game was supper choppy for me. I fixed my wireless signal so hopefully it gets better.

Also the pokecheck is crazy good in this edition. Sticklift is pretty much useless

Going to stick to OTP and wait until the boost packs come out. Not liking this game so far.

Am I using stick check wrong? Half the time it's awesome the other half it doesn't do what I need it to do.

I don't know. I haven't been using the sticklift since the pokecheck is so effective

Because you can't skate into people and keep the puck like last year? lol

No it's not. It forces you to play real hockey, think ahead, and make a smart pass.

Real NHLers dont hold onto the puck for 20 seconds and dangle through 300 people.

The one thing I hate about the poke check is it knocks passes half way down the ice like a tennis racket.

Haven't played a while, but I definitely wanna play this year

My handle is kost1489 I'm creating my guy right now I'm more of a playmaker and I can play both wing, but I'm better as a LW tho, I can play LD as well as an offensive defenceman.

Edit: I feel like a huge noob here, haven't played EASHL last 2 years cause I didn't have money to actually build a guy that can compete and now I'm totally clueless with where everything is.

I guess you build your guy in the be a pro mode, but where do you edit your skills? Also where is the hockey shop to unlock boost if it has came out yet? I got there thru a shortcut, but I can't get back there..

That said! I think I'm a pretty good player and want to try out

Edit 2: finally found it im preeeetty dumb

Patel isn't a real NHLer and he does that all the time

Any chance I could play with you guys tomorrow? My PSN is girouxtangclan.

I played 11 and 12 on XBox, but recently switched to PS3. I just want to play with people who play the game like it's real hockey. Having trouble getting a good game in through the drop-in games.

It all depends on the angle of attack, how close you are and which direction your pushing on the left stick. Obviously if you just use poke check / chip puck all day long your gonna run into that.

I love the game and the new physics. It makes you think before you act. Smart positional hockey in NHL 13 will rule supreme. Not EA_Hockey_GOD_Bo_Dangles_420_Doesnt_pass

If anyone is having a problem skating... slow down. Your agility and turning radius get better when your not trying to skate into the offensive zone at mach chicken trying to dangle 4 defenders.

Sent join request yesterday. Had fun for hours until a few players decided to ruin the game for everyone. Being part of a club is must. Will be on this evening again.

I think we should try to stick to 6's mostly.

With 6s, we are 10-4 (Top-10 in the 6v6 leaderboards). In 5 or less, we are 6-4-1. Huge different in the quality of play there. But if you guys want to play 4s or less, that's fine -- I just wont be playing those games.
