He played against North Dakota and Bemidji State as a fill in as well. Not sure why he doesn't leave the EJHL already.

I think Dubuque would be great for his development. Is BC scared that Monty will scare him to go up North or something? lol.

And by North, I mean Maine of course...

It's going on right now I heard. Decision hasn't been reached yet.

Chris Peters now saying that Pulver Sports paid for a hotel room for Kerdiles and that Kerdiles then paid them back for it.

Again, what the **** is wrong with Pulver Sports? Are they complete incompetent idiots?

If that's true then I don't see Kerdiles having any chance of winning that appeal. The punishment still seems draconian, but whatevs.

I reckon it was a master plan hatched between Pulver and Kerdiles. Kerdiles probably wanted to go the Major Junior route, but didn't want to back out on Wisconsin, thus this plan comes to fruition.

Nothing I've heard about Kerdiles indicates he is a giant puss like this.

Any OHL followers that can comment on Brampton's Blake Clarke? He has a goal and 2 assists so far in today's game and now has 10 points (4g,6a) so far on the year in 13 games. It's nice to see him, statistically at least, have a good start to his rookie campaign, especially given the less than fruitful season he had last year.

I know some of these guys are not draft eligible until 2014, but how has some the American Portland Winterhawks looked so far, like (De Leo, Iverson, Bittner, Turgeon, S.Jones etc...)

Brandon Shea was a healthy scratch for Quebec tonight. He's a sad lesson of poor work ethic, poor advice, poor attitude, combined with what appears to be an overrated prospect to begin with.

Adam Erne, on the other hand, has 4 goals and an assist so far. He has 23 points in 14 games.

Not sure if you are still reading this but the U18s tied Minnesota today 2-2. Minnesota is the #2 overall team in the country right now.

Again, this isn't a snarky response.

Per Chris Dilks, Thatcher Demko (NTDP U18 goalie), a late '95, is going to play for Omaha again next year. He's 2014 eligible and a junior in high school.

I believe Turgeon will play for Team Canada.

That was an incredible game to watch. Best game U18's have played all year. Demko was awesome with 39 saves. Dmen must have blocked another 12-15. Entire team stepped it up to earn that result.

I thought he was born in Colorado, and played some of his midget hockey in Colorado as well, unless he has dual citizenship then I could understand.

I watched last night's North Dakota-Alaska Anchorage game, Rocco Grimaldi and Danny Kristo really stood out for me, as they were both showing their speed, skill, and creativity. If Rocco Grimaldi starts producing and can stay healthy, there's no doubt in my mind he'll be on the U.S. world junior team.

He's a very impressive player. Plays much bigger than he is but he's still good sized and he's a very well rounded player that's good in pretty much all facets from what I've seen. I'm a big fan of his and I'd love to see him get in play for the 13th forward spot for the WJC team.

I caught the game as well.

I'm glad Kristo has stuck around college because he's shed some of the selfish play that plagued him previously (still needs to improve on it though) and I'll think he'll be NHL ready after little AHL seasoning.

Grimaldi looked better in the other ND games I've seen this year but his skill just jumps out at you. I expected him to start slowly just because the rust is obviously noticeable but give him a couple weeks and I think that will be gone.

Derek Forbort looked like he's finally matured and taken some control in his game. He looked nothing like the cringe worthy Forbort from last year and the WJC. He's looked much more assertive and if he can keep that up, I'm hopeful he might actually have top 4 upside.

I forgot about Forbort, He had a goal last night and if I'm right was a plus three, any chance he signs with the Kings after this season or do you think he stays with the Fighting Sioux?
