no 20 teams is too many. We either go with 10 teams each or we hold off on the draft until we know when the season will start if it gets locked out. Hopefully by then we can get another 4.
2weeks until we are scheduled to draft teams. Does anyone else want to join or do you guys want to push the draft back a bit until they decide when the season will start?

ok, I have finalized League A at 10 teams and it will be drafting on Oct. 6th at 8pm.
Panteras & Booth10 please check your pm and join League B. Once you join, League B can draft on either Oct. 6th 8pm or at a later date if you guys wish. I have just transfered commissioner duties for League B to JP Mick. So he will post on here once Panteras & Booth10 join to finalize a draft day and time.
Yes I'm in the same boat as 23 17 23. I'm announcing a hockey game on the 6th exactly around 8 pm. Need at least a few hours earlier.
A couple hours or so, earlier would be fantastic for me. I'd even be down to move the date to Sunday or any other day after, if that works best for everyone else.

I will be sending a message later tonight to the bottom 2 in League A to switch to League B so we have 10teams in each.
Crap I'll be out of town this weekend so no way I would make the draft. If I pre-rank, I probably wont be very active at all. I guess if you can find someone else to take my spot, I'll back out of the league, if not, just everyone be aware that I'll probably just be inactive.
Honestly, why are drafting now when the league is still locked out and no end in sight at the moment? Yahoo doesnt seem like its limiting the draft that it has to happen now. So whats the rush to have a draft without a CBA in place and a new start date for the NHL?

I agree that a few hours earlier would be preferable but if not that's ok. I'll do my best to draft while my wife has friends over trying to watch the Gator game on delay.

The fact that they worked out the extraneous stuff already basically suggests there will be a season...albeit just not one for a few months while they negotiate the financial aspects. Everyone knows that they dont want to miss out on the big money in the Winter Classic game so we should have hockey by Jan 1st.
But I think Yahoo will not force everyone to draft now with the lockout in place. They actually already have a link about it too and here's what they said (and the part about the draft):

Hey guys, I have taken over as commissioner for League B.
The latest date we can draft is Oct. 17, so I could push the draft day back a week to Saturday the 13th.
What do ya think? Draft time is flexible too, sometime between 5 and 8 PM preferred.
Also waiting on Booth10 and Panteras to leave League A and join us, so we will have 10 teams each.
