Wow this screwed me. I moved all the kept players from the list above to do my rankings.

So instead of taking Kessel first overall with autopick I get Bergeron.... awesome...

Looking at the rest of the draft autopick did me ZERO favors... might be a very long year for the Negotiators...

Kessel, Kopitar and Vanek were better than all your offers. Moving ten spots in late rounds wouldn't make up for those guys. I think you know that hence your offers...

Your many offers were always heavily slanted in your favour.

Ok no offence but you are insane if you are saying the offers I gave you were heavily slanted in my favour, lets take a look.

Receive Evgeni Malkin, Pit C from MRAD to Bench
Receive 6th Round Draft Pick (83rd Overall) from MRAD

Send Blake Wheeler, Wpg RW from RW to MRAD
Send Jakub Voracek, Phi RW from RW to MRAD
Send Cory Schneider, NJ G from G to MRAD
Send 21st Round Draft Pick (325th Overall) to MRAD

So in this deal you swap Schneider for Malkin straight up as they are equal value, and are receiving Wheeler and Voracek for Buff and Kronwall (the worst keep you kept) so you ended up with a projected point value of 693.3 where as if you accepted my offer you would have had a projected point value of 789.7 so with the above deal you are a projected loser of 96.4.

Malkin, ur 6th round pick, and your 10th round pick.
in exchange for
Parise, Schneider and my 10th, and 21st round picks

With this deal Malkin and Buff have a projected value of 536 while Parise and Schneider have a value of 554.5. This was essentially perfectly fair and equal.

So please try and explain to me how the deals were heavily slanted in my favour?

To be fair, the draft system screwed me too and I was actually present for it. It refused to let me even see the goalies available, much less let me draft a 3rd goalie. Completely changed my picks.

At least in your case you could have just made your rankings regardless of the keepers (I never thought posting unlocked keepers was a good idea to begin with). The keepers weren't locked until an hour before the draft and we were under no agreement as far as I'm concerned to not change them prior to that. At least I posted about it.

edit: and by no means did I want kessel to fall to the isotopes.

It's actually pretty funny to review the draft. Malone somehow snuck past everyone. Jokinen and Glencross somehow fell to the last couple rounds. IIRC even vrbata and erat went really late. And that's aside from the auto draft picks (can't believe I almost got vanek with last pick in the 6th).

Does anyone else remember the draft tools being better last year? I thought for sure it showed us fantasy points last year.

Ya, its insane, I don't think hardly anyone was prepared for the draft, predraft I counted 5 teams with serious goaltending problems, yet no goalie was selected in the first round, and only 1 in the second round. When a even the ****** goalies who were available will be just as valuable to your team as a Crosby/Stamkos/Malkin are.

I've got Anderson and Brodeur this year. Not spectacular but better than my Anderson/Clemmensen/Bishop combo last year.

I have spare forwards. Looking for help on defense.

I'd like to do a 2-for-1 trade since I like my depth (after getting Malone for nothing and needing to clear room eventually to take Callahan off IR) and I know there were more than a few questionable auto-draft picks. I don't expect a quality for quantity or blockbuster deal, an average D for a couple average forwards would fit my needs (getting DeKeyser on the bench, getting some value for whoever I'd otherwise drop to make room for Callahan).

God, does auto-pick suck. Waited till the last round of the draft to pick a goalie when I only had one. It picked Peter Mueller before a goalie!

I've got Thomas available and I hear he's been looking good in camp

Those present for the draft will recall the system was broken and wouldn't even let me see goalies. Despite having two on my roster it told me I was exceeding the limit.

Yeah. ESPN really sucks for fantasy hockey, actually make that hockey in general.

Might be interested in Thomas. I have to wait just a little to figure out if Vokoun's problem is real long-term first.

Mason and Lindback available for a good player. Both started game 1 for their teams.

Hopefully Schneider and Dubnyk recover. In their collective first games they earned a whopping 1.2 points.
