Glad I'm not the only one who sees this.

Whenever I watch him he exploits the weaker defenders by beating them individually with his skill.

That's great, but it won't work at the NHL level.

Jakub Vrana is going to be an excellent player. Very good shot, good passing skills and great understanding of the game. Vrana is better than Bukarts in my opinion.

I´ll have probably some chances to see Julius Bergman playing next season, and from what I know, he should be a good prospect as well. Bergman played regularly in the Division 1 (third highest level in Sweden). Now Karlskrona plays in Allsvenskan and I follow that league quite much, so I hope there will be at least a few matches on tv.

As much I would love that to happen, MHL players will never ever go that high in draft again. And I'm curious actually how much have you seen of Bukarts to put him that high?

Bukarts has signed a KHL contract with Dinamo Riga through 2014/15. NHL release clauses are theoretically illegal in KHL, still, even if he has one, I think, the fact that he signed his contract this summer will play against him regarding his position in the draft.

Also, with the new KHL regulations that each team has to dress two U22 players for each game (unless the rules change once again in the future), I guess it is rather safe to say that Bukarts will play at least some games in the KHL in 13/14.

On other hand, Vasilevski also was (and still is) under contract with Ufa and he went in top20, but then again he had some brilliant WJC outings.

I took the team he played most for which was U18
SDE HF and Södertälje are two different teams/organizations, I hope you know that Still, he played 20 games with three different Södertälje junior teams last season (compared to 18 games with SDE), and has moved up to their J20 team for this season. I just wanted to point that out, in case somebody wanted to look him up, to make it easier that way

Leon Draisaitl
Maybe he won´t be a top 10 pick, but he´s definitely going to be a first-rounder

I have hard time believing that Kapanen and Lintuniemi would first rounders. Are they really that potential? And Kapanen won't get any taller than his father.

Kapanen still has plenty to prove, 1st round might be pushing it at this point. Lintuniemi won’t be a 1st round prospect, I’m certain of that, later rounds might be a possibility if he develops really well. Isn’t Kasperi already taller than his dad? In reality Sami is only 5'9'' tall.

And yes, it would certainly be nice to know how guys like Leon Draisaitl, Nikolaj Ehlers, Phil Baltisberger and Maxim Lazarev rank up amongst the Europeans. That and a Viking boat load of Swedes.

His stats are amazing. I know it's not the best competition but 97 goals in 29 games is pretty impressive. Hopefully he can adjust well to the CHL.

If he works on his skating he should do fine. All the other tools are there. I am hopeful he will rise in the rankings throughout this season and next.
I am less worried about his adjustment to the CHL on the ice, I am more worried about his adjustment to being away from home and his family. There is no particular reason for my worries, it is just something that you can't really predict. Some guys do well and others cannot cope with it. But I am sure the Raiders will do their best to make the transition a smooth one.

I have him right now in my 2nd round, he is an excellent two way player, I just want to see him in the CHL first.

Think it could be DeAngelo's coming out party this year. He was very solid all season last year for Sarnia, showed some signs of brilliance at some points. I think he could be one of the more dominant defenseman in this league this year. So much raw ability.

Im his age and live in mississauga (Where he grew up). While I wasn't quite good enough to play against him, I saw him often at the rinks in town. He is Nazem Kadri 2.0 IMO. Great talent, effortless hands, but he has always been a bit selfish. He doesn't seem to want to adjust his game for a higher level, and for that reason I don't think he will ever be a top line player.

Swiss forward with Czech roots Kevin Fiala should be easily first rounder.
Barbashev is marginal NHL prospect IMO based on two tournaments I saw him.

For those unhappy with some aspects of Ho-Sang's game: it sounds like he's already working on improving.

People were too hard on Ho-Sang last year. I think he'll have a successful next two years in junior and do well in the draft.

I hope he grows then, Fiala on my rinknet is listed at 5'7 and I know when i saw him he looked shorter than that...he does have a high skill level, but I think right now at this height he will not go 1st round...if he gets to 5'10 or 5'11 I might see it........Barbashev is a good prospect, far from just a marginal NHL prospect IMO.

Solid list, but you're missing Jack Eichel who I think is a top three, if not the best, forward on the U17 NTDP team this coming year.
