Robert Hagg was very good when given playing time. A guy who is 2 years younger and looked comfortable as the tourney went on. He will be the best defender in the draft outside of Jones. Risto is gonna compete with him early on but Hagg is too good.
There's absolutely no way Lindholm drops to 10. In fact, I'd say there's a better chance of Lindholm going ahead of Monahan than after.
i don't know it's close the only reason monahan didn't make team canada was because he was coming off a ten game suspension and had some rust.
He was so good in the subway series against russia surprised he didn't get a longer shot to make the team. He's also about 1.5 ppg on one of the worst teams in the OHL right now.

"The draft lottery selection process will change with all 14 teams fully eligible for the first overall pick. The weighting system for each team may remain, but four-spot move restriction will be eliminated."
This will probably help the Leafs more than the Sens But this might cut down on all the tank talk if were out of a playoff spot in the later months.

I'm not obsessed, I call it as I see it. I watch some of these kids live when I go to Sweden so I have more of an advantage that some people don't get.
It's funny because the posts you have seen me hype up have been recent when the huge wave of Swedish prospects kicked in like Karlsson, Lehner, Silfverberg, OEL, Larsson. However, go ahead and try to counter my opinions on those guys. I may have hyped them but not to the degree where it has not been deserved. I've been hyping Karlsson, OEL, Lehner and Silfverberg long before people knew their real worth. Can you blame me?
Also, don't make inaccurate statements, I also hyped up Wiercioch, Noesen, Barkov, Greening, Gemel Smith, Burmistrov, Granlund etc...
I watch a lot of prospects play, and I'm not afraid to say I've called my fair share of unaccomplished players like Sorensen, even though I really don't know what went wrong there. Bashkirov too but I'd blame his lack of development on the impact his twin played on him.
I think people don't take me seriously for how I show my optimism and how I talk on these boards but I really don't care what people think. I admit when I first entered these boards I wasn't as mature as I am know and didn't back my arguments well. I'm here to say what I see. So far, I've been very accurate in my predictions... to date.
If we end up with the same pick as last season (15th overall) and Erne is still there, I would do back flips. They guy is a top 10 talent with a top 3 forward potential, amazing hands and skill, great skater.

You're right but I was raving about them being number 1 goalie and one of the best defenders from the bat, that's where I got my early title of "optimistic." OEL shot up the standings in the final months, I was pimping him before that. They weren't as hyped before to the extent I was hyping them. I just mentioned them because they are playing/close to playing big roles in the organization. Regardless, I'm not here to impress, I just try to share my info on prospects to everyone here who doesn't have the ability to view them live. I'd admit Larsson was pimped pretty hard at the same time so he doesn't really count.
If I was out to impress I'd keep pointing out Wiercioch, Greening(While he was still in College) DaCosta(Before he entered his sophomore year) Regardless this isn't a competition of knowledge, the guy asked why I like Swedes and I just wanted to point out my personal viewings gives me better viewings of their dominance.

I know you have been pumping Nurse's tyres for a while and without the ability to really follow any non-bingo prospects (sens or otherwise) does Nurse have a big shot? From your posts he seems more of a stay at home d man but I would really like to see Ottawa draft a left handed dman with a mean/nasty streak (most important to me) to complement Karlsson/Ceci that also has a bomb of a shot. Since both Karlsson and Ceci are right handed and are/will run the PP, I'd like to have a L d man that either one can set up. Is Nurse that guy?
