It's so ****ing stupid, even other team's executives are bashing the Nats and hoping they lose:
Wow, that's a pretty strong indictment. I know they want to preserve the kid's arm for the future, but this seems like the one situation where it is completely appropriate to throw caution away and go for it. If they're not careful they might Joba the kid.

That looks more sensible than batting him third. Granderson is still too low though.

I see Granderson didn't show up to the stadium again. He is batting like .076, please take him out. It's getting ridiculous watching him strikeout on three straight every time.

How the **** can Granderson not even know how to bunt? Isn't he supposed to be a lead-off or number 2 hitter?

And bad luck there for Nix and bad base running by Martin. Ball just hung up in the air. That looked like it was going to be out off the bat.

Win now. You never know if you get another chance and if his arm is a ticking time bomb he's gonna **** it up again sooner rather than later anyway.

I love him, but he is playing like dog ****. His strikeouts were an issue all season, but this is just getting absurd now.

It's getting absurd how often he does nothing of use in big situations.

7 straight strikeouts after the 6th inning in this series for Rodriguez?

Well his streak is over. Still 0-9 though.

Arod...left a village on base. He's got to go. Id rather have Chavez as a 3B. His hitting is much more effective. Postinghere because there are some Yankees fans as disgruntled as me.

The ticket prices are VERY affordable on StubHub for a deciding playoff game on a Friday night, it's even tempting me as a non-Yankee fan to get a single for $35 (after fees).

EDIT: Forgot it was a 5 PM game, that puts a bit of a fly in the ointment. It's definitely a good deal to go if you can make it by then (i.e. get out of work early, live close by)

5pm is the exact reason why. I don't work right now, no classes today, live in the city and will make sure to have no plans. I called my buds at 3am and told them we are going

Everyone can get on A-Rod, and yes he's been bad. But Granderson's been worse.

Cano and Granderson aren't even getting paid half as much as A-Rod though.

****ing everybody's been bad. There's no reason the Yankees' hitters should be getting held to 1 or 2 runs by the Orioles' pitching. Where's the thunder Nick Swisher was talking about?

Same for me. If I didn't have work tonight I would have contemplated going myself.

Was wondering why it was a 5 PM start today but then I remembered he ALCS starts tomorrow so they needed some travel time.
