That was horrible. If that was scored against me I'd be disgusted.
Also, with this new skating engines comes a massively unrealistic looking in game flow with all of the backwards skating moves that you can make at any point. Looks so unrealistic.
I can't score with 30 shots on net but the computer scores 4 on Lundqvist with 8 shots on net
So basically, nothing's changed from NHL08?
So glad EA has this season ticket thing. I just saved $70.
I love a lot of what EA's games have to offer, but the AI is simply horrible. The CPU cheats in order to make them more competitive.
I'm done with all hockey games until next gen.
Thank goodness for games like The Show, NBA2K13 and hopefully EA's UFC game.
P.S. I don't buy for a second that EA has capped out this gen of hardware and therefore can't fix the AI.
NHL2K3 had the absolute best AI ever seen in a hockey game and that was last gen! There's no reason that NHL13 can't have something comparable.
I think EA's problem is that they spend too much time on things like EASHL, HUT and MY player and a lot less time trying to make the AI smarter.
To all my season ticket users I come to you pleading to answer a question. I have xbox live gold and am very tempted to pony upo the twenty bones to get season ticket so I can play nhl early. Problem is I am heading on the road monday am, and staying in a hotel which I can't access internet. So will a seasoon ticket nhl13 download work of line?

Pretty sure it does not work offline. You need to be connected to EA servers to verify that you have the season ticket.
I have two questions. First, what would be the overall of just an average OHLer? And second is yakupov pretty much the best of his age group(2012 draft class) or is some random guys rated higher?
Versus is soooo much faster than in the demo. Could just be that i'm the Hawks but it felt like a totally different game than the demo. Skating Engine is still in place but everyone is zipping around.
The game is awesome. I love true broadcast although will take a bit to get used to playing that way.Only issue is a roster update. It shows Semin as still with the Caps and Sutter with the Canes. How do I update the roster on PS3?
roster update should be out on release day. Surprised its not already as the rosters were updated one of the days I tested the game.
I liked the demo better, eveything is way too fast paced now.
Also, my biggest problem in this game is that your players seem to never pick up the puck when it's by them. Ever. And it's like turning an 18 wheeler when youre a defensemen going back for the puck. It's insane.
Playing drop in games is just awful. With the terrible attributes, the fact that players completely forgot how to play the game, this drop in crap is just brutal. I can't wait until my team gets the game so I can play with some competent players. Oh and the dive glitching is also back in full force.

OHL players range from 45 to 60. And Yakupov is 62
Jonas Brodin and Sebastian Collberg are not in game for some reason

Also what's the rating and potential for
Jordie Ben
Ben Bishop
Drew Stafford
Phillip Larsen
Christopher Nihlstorp
Also is it possible to tell me what player builds are these guys
Would someone mind posting the overalls and potential ratings for some of the Sabres players/prospects? (ie: Ennis, Hodgson, Grigorenko, Armia, Pysyk, McNabb, Foligno, Girgensons)

Other than that, fun game.
how much faster is it? had absolutely no problem facing against the CPU at superstar in demo, that the speed boost may not be so bad.
