Believe me, I wasn't diminishing the Kings' fans pain either. While the Flyers did (and do) have Jody Shelley making far more than he ever should have, at least he's never been on a line with Giroux (the Flyers' closest thing to Kopitar at the moment).
There is a long list on both sides of brutal players - and unfortunately, we share a few too. For the Kings, those days appear to be gone, hopefully never to return. The Flyers still have a few and with Holmgren's knack of overpaying slugs, that's not going to change (see: Michael Leighton).
