Just as a heads up...

@arobertwebb: Looking forward to Dr Who tonight as ever. @RealDMitchell & I are the voices of some evil bickering robots. They weren't written as camp... ...but that's what happened.

Mark Williams appearance(anywhere) always makes me expecting him say something from The Fast Show. "Oooh, suit you, sir!" "You ain't seen me, right?"

Not the most memorable episode but not bad. Somewhat predictable though. Nice seeing Ben Browder, the short time he was in the episode.

only two episodes left with the Ponds. Rathers funny arguement on one of the main Doctor who sites over whether or not the Ponds get killed or in fact Amy gets pregnent again. My theory is that the Doctor will go back in time, never pick up the Pond--but pick up the girl we met in the first episode of this season. But that would mean no River Song, however there is talk of her own series

My guess is that Amy gets pregnant, and The Doctor resolves never to see them again for their (and the kids) own good. They expect to see him again, and it ends on some real gut-punch of a moment where Amy kind of knows he's not coming back this time. But with the Angels being the enemy of the episode, it's only too easy to go a ton of different ways with it.

I expect the Oswane (sp?) thing to be separate from the Ponds though. That'll be the Christmas special, changing this brilliant girls destiny.

Oswyn/Oswin. The problem being that if he changes history on her part, then the Daleks will "know" the Doctor again.

The problem with the doctor going back and getting her before the crash is that she played a pivatol role in getting the ponds back together

But as we know there is no less than four time lines with the Doctor right now

Much better episode this week than those previously. I know for a fact I would never have went near those cubes.

I am amused by the cameos in the episodes

on one of the main who site there is suggestion that for those who were watching the episode need to rewatch it to catch a major spoiler that was subtle put in

It is being suggested that either Rory, Any or River will bite the big one in this episode. My vote is for River because the actress who plays her turned down her own series last year

River can't because she'll "die" in the future, in The Silent Library.

Yes, but getting eaten by the Angels doesn't preclude her from any previous events. Since the angels "kill" by zapping you back in time (well, angel Bob got his neck snapped, but w/e), it wouldn't be impossible for River to get eaten and end up in another time stream. Also, the show routinely wipes out huge chunks of time, so even if River dies in the traditional sense, she can just come back at the end of the season when the Doctor reverses time itself, again...

As much as I hate saying it, I really think a "dead" River is the most likely scenario. A nickle says the Doctor is faced with the choice of saving Amy and Rory or River, and goes with the couple since he already knows when River really dies. I'm gearing myself up to get let down by this episode.

Moffat has been consistent and clear that he's not going to change River's ending. She dies in the library, nowhere else.

The worst thing about River Song being in episodes is that you know she's never going to die.

And my bet is on Rory dying.
