Honestly can't believe Corbett and Sautner were on Central's list last year. Guess we know the real scouts are doing their job by not picking these two muppets.

It caught on in the playoffs but my section (mostly kids) was chanting "LB!" in February.

Same here. I do not think Corbett is horrible, but he is not great. I think Sautner and LB have been our two wrose players this season. I really hope Vancouver falls out of the playoff race soon so we can go after Musil. He is what our team needs right now. I would not mind seeing Jarry get more games.

Its funny that in early September LB was in discussion for Team Canada.

As of today i doubt he gets an invite to december camp.

It wasn't exactly deserved. Reinhart, St Croix and even Lazar should have had it long before Brossoit. Hell, you could even make a case for Maxwell over Brossoit.

Pretty lousy effort. The Oil Kings get shutout 1-0.

The 'Kings took 8 penalties tonight. There's a real discipline problem on this club.

We'll see where this team really stands in the WHL pecking order when Kamloops comes to town this week.

Maxwell over LB in last year's playoffs? Really?

I don't know what to say to that.

I guess you didnt watch the playoff games then.

Brossoit's .933 Sv% was outstanding and was better than all the goalies except for Brandon Glover of Calgary, who only played four games.

Lazar and St Croix on the other hand, while playing well, werent even close to the league lead in goals or points for the playoffs.

Your damn rights Brossoit was deserving.

That was an outstanding performance. Anyone who saw the games would agree.

They will get buried by the Blazers. Like you said, too many penalties. Night after night giving up 8 or 9 pp's. Not only does it give teams chances to score, but it also means that your team isnt going to.

Not impressed with tonight's effort or the team's play in general this season.

On a side note, Im thinking Brossoit is/should be close to losing the starting job.

Jarry has played really well.

I don't know how anyone could argue against Brossoit. Lazar was good but he was hardly the most dominant player on the ice. It was just exciting to get a preview of what was to come from him....and I was actually disappointed by St.Criox in the playoffs. It seemed like he did just enough to get his points but in general wasn't very noticeable. He looked nothing like the player we saw in the regular season. He was scoring goals at about half the pace and being just under a point per game was a far cry from 100 point player we knew. As for Maxwell. Was he even on the radar? Rachinski, Gernat and Pysyk all put up more memorable performances.

Brossoit was the only choice if you ask me.

Very well put. Brissoit put the team on his shoulders some nights during the playoff run in order to keep their winning streak alive.

Lots of guys stepped up during that playoff run...you have to have many people step up and do their part to win any sort of brutal playoff run...but Brissoit shone through as the clear MVP very early in the playoffs. Without Brissoit, they wouldn't have gotten past Portland and they definitely wouldn't have swept past their first two opponents.

I really think the Oil Kings are going to pull this one through and play a solid game and win. Thjey want to be the best so I think they know they got to prove it by beating Kamloops.

Good luck with that.

Considering how many penalties they are taking and how poorly Brossoit has been playing, I think it will be 3-0 Kamloops by the end of the first period.

This has the potential to get embarrassing.
