Same. Put 250 on the Blazers. This game could get ugly, quick.

I put 500 on Edmonton I think wen win 4 to 2 tonight. Geertsen with a solid game tonight and our best forward will be Samuelsson.

Ok i got this WHL Live thing figured out. Would have been nice if the live button wasn't greyed out.

Anyhow, Lipon and Ranford's goals were great goals.

Yeah I kind of think lipon goals could of been saved, but it wasn't horrible. Ranfords goal was a beauty snipe. Overall not a horrible period by boys thought it was pretty even.
Nice to see another GP boy supporting the Oil kings I wish gp would get behind the OK more

Well the Storm are kinda of a big deal around here.

What i think would be a good idea is if the Oil Kings held part of their training camp in Grande Prairie. Do a mini preseason tourny. Kinda like the Penticton thing the Oilers do with the rookies.

We are half way between Prince George and Edmonton. Would be great advertising for the Oil Kings and it would be a good opportunity for the citizens of Grande Prairie to show their support for a future WHL team. I think we are heading in that direction.

Ewanyk is becoming one of my favorite players. Big Hit + Fighting the top scorer of the other team.

Honestly, this will be a bet I'm glad to lose if the boys can pull it off.

Yeah I stop watching the Storm once coach VC and my
Friends left the team. Last was not a fun year to watch them. I think that would be great for the Oil kings to do that and get more connected with the community.
Hands down my two favourite players this year have been Ewanyk and Geertsen although I have always been a hardcore Ewanyk supporter

Does anyone know why Lipon did not get kicked out?

He didn't get kicked out. He got 5 min for fighting and a 10 min misconduct because his jersey wasn't tied down.

That is why I am wondering why he didn't get kicked out? I always you get a game misconduct for not using your fight strap.

Off topic but how are the Storm doing this season?

Of topi but how are the Storm doing this season?
My bad I was reading and eating a sandwich at the same time.

I always thought it was 10 min misconduct but not a game ejection.

Storm are very inconsistent. I think they are 6-5-2. They win 2 or 3 in a row, then the wheels fall off and they lose 2-3 in a row. They are struggling offensively right now.

I haven't gone yet this year since i get free tickets from work and i haven't received a pair yet. I can probably provide more insight when I actually go to a game.

Sounds like they're off to their usually wonky start of the year

For once Edmonton isn't the team taking multiple undisciplined penalties.

Why is there 5 Forwards on the ice with 90 seconds to go in the game?

Well, the Oil Kings certainly put up a battle tonight. Good to see. Hopefully, we start to see efforts like this against the lesser clubs.

Well Brossoit was terrible in the shootout and the Oil Kings lose.

Lazar, Reinhart, Lowe, Wruck and Foster played really well. Oil Kings should have won this game.

Brossoit flat sucks in the shootouts and doesnt really help his team during the game. It is time for them to give Jarry a better chance. I really liked both Ewanyk and Moroz games tonight.

There wasnt.

Reinhart and Corbett were on d. Once I saw Corbett come out I asked myself wtf Laxdall was doing and sure enough they get scored on shorthanded and Corbett was directly involved. Both he and Sautner are a total nightmare out there.

On a positive not this was Mitch Moroz' best game. Huge hit on Ranford, throwing his body around all night and scored his first goal of the season.

Good to hear on Moroz. He's at his best when he's just keeping it simple.
