Reinhart has a very hard, very effective shot from the point and it is not being utilized. I think that is a mistake. You are free to disagree and can throw out the stats jibber-jabber if you want.
Stats jibber-jabber? Isn't the important part of a powerplay its effectiveness, not how pretty it looks? When they get going on their current powerplay the other team never comes close to touching the puck.

I know how old they are, I'm just saying both aren't good.

Im saying that it can be even better by utilizing Reinhart's shot from the point. Tonight's game was a good example. Did you watch?

Maybe, but Im not sure Shmoorkoff has been given much of a chance to show anything. From where I sit he has improved on a week to week basis. That's certainly more than I can say for Sautner who seems to be getting progressively worse over the last two seasons I have watched him. He certainly isnt getting any better.

Both him and Mayo were on for the first two PA goals tonight. They both looked awful. Something needs to be done if they want to go far this year. Having those two together on a pairing is not going to cut it.

Bertolucci scores his first WHL goal to tie the game 1-1.

The Oil Kings are reverting back to their undisciplined, penalty-happy form from earlier in the season.

Good for him, he deserves to have his ice-time and spotlight in his draft year.

Anyone watch the Broncs game that wants to give a few lines of rundown/summary. Wish they would put some freaking video highlights up in a semi-timely manner.

Need prospect help!

I just moved back to Kelowna last week(8yrs removed) and I'm going to the Rockets/Oil kings game on Wednesday. I'm really Interested in following the guys that are going to be available in this years draft ie: Lazar/Sissons can anyone give me a heads up as to any other prospect on either team I should keep an eye on.

Thanks in advance.

I'd watch Moroz and Musil on the Oil Kings as well.

Edmonton draft eligible.........G Tristan Jarry, C Curtis Lazar, D Stephen Shmoorkoff, C Cole Benson, LW Edgars Kulda, LW Brandon Baddock, LW Luke Bertolucci.

Lazar could be a top ten pick, Jarry and possibly Baddock should get drafted in the middle rounds, not sure if the rest will get drafted.

Kelowna- G Jackson Whistle, C Cole Linaker, D Jesse Lees, D Madison Bowey, D Mitchell Wheaton.

Madison Bowey should go in the first round, probably mid to late first round imo, not sure about the rest.

I would try to keep an eye on Lazar and Bowey. Both are very strong, very good players.

Just a reminder that Wednesday's game in Kelowna will be on Shaw TV.

Tonight will be a big test as they take on Kamloops. They came so close to beating them in regulation when the Blazers visited Rexall last month, if not for that late shortie. Time to exact a little revenge.

I think we will pull it off in OT 4-3 win

Sissons was drafted this summer, 2nd round, 50th overall by Nashville FYI.

One of the guys I would have rather taken than Moroz at 31.

Nonetheless a guy worth watching!

2-0 Edmonton after one. Moroz and Samuelsson with the goals. Brossoit has been lights out. Great game.

Oil Kings hang on to win 2-1 to hand the Blazers their first loss on home ice and only their second regulation loss all year.

Brossoit stops 31 of 32 shots.

Best game of the year for him.

Ok. He made a couple of mistakes, but so did everyone else. It was a hectic pace.

Curtis Lazar with only one assist in his last five games. He needs to produce more than that. Playing well defensively though.

LB stepped it up tonight. Massive, massive win. The Oil Kings have gone toe to toe with the Blazers on two separate occasions. This is going to be huge for them moving forward.
