No deals can be made till the 16th. I will have a better idea where my team stands by then hopefully via real life trade/free agents. My cap numbers could change at any time with addition of players.

I had nothing in mind. PM me if you want to start some early stages of negotiating.

Bobby Ryan (5.1) - Ryan Getzlaf (5.325) - Corey Perry (5.325)
Kyle Palmieri (1.025) - Saku Koivu (3.8) - Teemu Selanne (4.5)
Nick Bonino (700k) - Andrew Cogliano (2.39) - Daniel Winnik (1.8)
Devonte Smith-Pelly (870k) - Peter Holland (1.29) - Brad Staubitz (637k)
Emerson Etem (870k)
Dan Sexton (550k)
Brandon McMillan (875k)
Matt Beleskey (737k)

Francois Beauchemin (3.5) - Cam Fowler (1.4)
Sheldon Souray (3.6) - Tony Lydman (3)
Luca Sbisa (1.275)- Bryan Allen (3.5)
Sami Vatenen (1.325)
Nate Guenin (525k)
Matt Smaby (650k)
Jordan Hendry (600k)

Jonas Hiller (4.5)
Jeff Delauriers (612k)
Victor Fasth (1)

All players are in play with regards to trades however:
BOLDED players will only be traded for players that can fill an important/similar role.
UNDERLINED players are not on the block but could be had to upgrade other positions.
The rest are fair game.

At the point in time the Ducks are looking for help in the 2nd line center position and have a surplus of steady NHL d-men.

PM me with any offers.

I'm not familiar with this format but are we simply playing one long season? Or is it multiple with off season and drafts?

GM Connected will support multiple seasons and draft pick trades. I don't know what we are doing as a league though. I would imagine so or else we could just run a league instead

I got too many centres haha, Bozak for someone young with some decent potential, preferably goalie, or winger

It will be interesting to see what the starting rosters look like with the cap. Some teams may have to shed some cap space quickly.

New Owner of Blue Jackets have money to spend ;P

GM connected mode has completely blown my mind!

It's way better than what I thought they could do!

They have trade blocks/wants and needs, offer sheets and compensation according to the cap, easy to use messaging between GM's, it's seriously amazing and will make it so our league runs smoothly!

How does this stuff work regarding prospects?

I'm Washington, so for example Filip Forsberg. If he is on any roster in NHL 13 is he considered Capitals "property"? And if he's not in a roster, but is added to the game later in the year, would he be mine, or go into a draft pool for our theoretical first offseason?

Can you give us a list of the options that we need to decide before we set up the official one?

We will have the first updated rosters so he will be there and should be signed as well. If he isn't signed you can sign him or wait a maximum of 3 years to get him under contract before he goes into the free agent pool. He is also 18 years of age so if you sign him and you choose to not have him in the NHL he will go to a junior team even though he played in europe last year and you won't be able to use him till the following season if he makes you NHL team then. I think he would even go for another year in Junior the next season if he didn't make your NHL team. The season after that he could go to the AHL or NHL and you could call up and send down at any time without waivers. Also if he is signed and he goes back to junior that won't count as a season played on his contract. They will improve in junior as they would in the AHL or NHL ratings wise, the lower the player rating the cheaper it is to sign him.

Where's the commissioner? Some of the rules need to be fleshed out and listed on the OP such as difficulty, length of game, and length of season.

For example, one league I know will play 6 min games on all-star difficulty and a season is one month.
