Weber-Suter is better defensively, but Karlsson's monster offense paired with Chara monster defense (which is better than either of Weber or Suter's) is just nuckin' futs. Plus, even though he's not of Suter, Chara, or Weber's caliber, Karlsson is underrated defensively. Chara is also not a slouch in any way offensively. Karlsson would improve his offensive numbers and Chara would help Karlsson defensively and correct his mishaps.

What Ottawa could have had over what Nashville did have... The only possible reason not to go that route is a potential conflict in chemistry b/w Chara and Karlsson, vs the know chemistry of Suter/Weber.

I'm assuming you are saying Suter is the one that does not have an offensive game, which would be dead wrong. The last 3 seasons Suter has scored at a .53 PPG clip, while Chara is at a .58 PPG clip, and Weber at a .59 respectively. I wont argue against Karlsson

It all depends on the situation. In the original thread it was a seven game series and since Suter and Weber know each other i'd take them.
