Rinne. He's played better for more than 2 years, maybe not for the past 2 years but Quick might do bad after all this hype.

This. Rinne's a product of the system imo. He doesn't play too well in the playoffs either.

Really? Let's see how Rinne does without Suter.

This, but it's close. I don't really think Rinne is a product of any system, Nashville just has a very talented defense. Even with that, Rinne's still probably a top 3 talent in the league.

Quick is younger, and has only ever had Doughty as star defenseman to play behind. Rinne had Suter and Weber, and still has Weber.

I would go with Rinne. But if Quick can play as well as he did last year than I would put him ahead.

Quick because he's 4 years younger, already arguably better, and is 1.2 mil cheaper

Rinne is already proven, while Quick has only one good season under his belt. Ask me again next year and it might be Quick, but for now its Rinne.

LA's system is way better than Nashville's. They did win the cup after all. People really overrate Trotz's "system"

Even though you didn't go into details, you are the first person to even mention hockey skills or talent in this argument. Pretty funny how people list all these less important details like systems and teammates, and fail to bring up what matters.
