Powerplay

Perhaps this is premature as our team could still change, but curious what pp units people have in mind.

Unit 1.

---- Schultz---- Perron
Nuge---------
-------------- - Eberle
----- Hall- <net>

Unit 2.
--- Petry ----Hemsky
Yakupov
------- Smyth ----Gagner
------- <net>

One forward on the point for each unit.

unit one has nuge trying to set up hall and ebs down low. Unit two has hemsky trying to feed yaks one timers. Smyth just needs to not get hit. lol

don't see perron playing point on power play, too good at puck retrieval and point would be a waste of them sick mitts

I think he played the point in STL. That said I agree with you.. I'd go with..

#1
--J. Schultz--Gagner
RNH-----------------
---------------Eberle
Hall-----Net----------

#2
Petry/Belov--Hemsky
Yakupov-----------
--------------Perron
Gordon---Net-------

Gordon is there to win faceoffs and provide net presence. Perron is a puck hound who can win battles in the corner and make space with his hands. He's also not afraid to go to the net as we saw in the Kings series. Gordon and Perron down low together would be great.

Hopefully Belov can utilize that cannon on our PP.

Didn't think about Belov. He could be good on the #2 unit.
