^ I have a problem with her saying that she doesn't need to disclose anything. In a sport that where there is even more risk of contracting something from an opponent and being physically harmed, every piece of medical information is important.
That and the fact that she's basically using this to get attention...Otherwise she's a mediocre fighter with a nothing record.

I think she intentionally tried to hide this, as well. I do not know the reasons, though. It could be that she knew she had an unfair advantage and wanted to ride this as far as she could. It could also be that she valued her own security and feelings more than the safety of others. Regardless of the motive, it's a completely retarded decision on her part.
Prior to today, I actually was under the assumption Fox had disclosed this to the commission (or at least I didn't believe she was actively concealing it from them). I had figured she merely wasn't informing the fighters (which is obviously still wrong).
But her lack of disclosure to the commission is just disgraceful. It gives Fox a bad look and it gives the LGBT community a bad look. She's a ****ing ******* for not disclosing it and her statements on the matter reek of arrogance.
A post-fight drug test for UFC heavyweight Lavar Johnson (17-7 MMA, 2-2 UFC), who lost a unanimous decision to Brendan Schaub (9-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) at UFC 157, has been flagged for elevated levels of testosterone. An additional carbon isotope ratio test "confirmed the testosterone was consistent with the administration of a steroid," according to CSAC Executive Officer Andy Foster.
Last season was trash and almost made me give up on the show. This season has been excellent. The show is far better without all the reality drama crap. I want to watch fighters trying to make their dreams come true, not some MTV crap.
Hear hear!
Not only is the upcoming season going to be a gong show in the house, but it wont hold my attention much in the ring either. Not a huge fan of the little dudes.
Rumble is -155 against Arlovski. I can't believe this. I know Arlovski doesn't have the greatest chin these days but he's a natural HW who is still quite skilled. I can't believe he's an underdog here.

What I can't believe is that Rumble made 170lbs 2 years ago
Arlovski weighs in at 245 and Rumble at 230. Seriously. The guy cut 60 ****ing pounds to fight at 170 in the UFC. That's just insane...
I'll always feel bad for Yoshiyuki Yoshida, who probably cut less than 15 pounds to make 170, and had to fight Johnson when he weighed in at 176 and probably went back up to at least 210... And promptly got knocked out in the first minute. To put things into perspective, Yoshida is fighting at 155 now.

What? That's now how it works. Johnson does not put in the same kind of work or diet to fight heavyweight than he did to fight welterweight . No way in hell he fought at more than 210 back then.

Spot picking, or fighting a little guy could be the equivalent in hockey terms I suppose. Either way I am glad Johnson is picking on someone his own size.
Lots of buzz for this WSOF card... on NBC sports as well. Things are looking up for Sefo.

Johnson shouldn't be Arlovski's size though. If he trained all the time and took things seriously, he would easily make 205 and might even be able to make 185. He looked chubby and out of shape at the weigh-ins.

I distinctly remember Joe Rogan saying once during a fight that Johnson's walk around weight was 230 during a fight at 170. Crazy.
Bad news, the WSOF event might be cancelled. A few issues with the ring, thus it has not been approved. They're getting a new mat flown in, and also getting a few other components that needed to be changed, but we won't know until tomorrow if the ring gets cleared. That's bad.

Yeah he definitely looked a little chubby. Part of it is probably just the difference when compared to seeing him at 170 or whatever. 205 seems perfect for him. He could lose 10 or so pounds of fat and then cut from there. For 185 he'd have to lose 25 pounds of fat and it doesn't look like he has that much on him.
Rumble was -155 for this fight a few days ago, but it's pretty much dead even now. I'd still jump all over Arlovski. Rumble never had great cardio and my guess is he's winded here pretty early. Arlovski's also the much bigger of the two. If Arlovski's smart he'll try to tire him out early and avoid any sloppy exchanges and take over from there. Hopefully with a dominant win the UFC brings him back.
