He's a draw and I like him, so I'd love to see him back, but word was he had no interest in working towards a title, and was more interested in a big fight or two. That has Mir III written all over it, and I have zero interest in that.
Rumors of Carwin and Lesnar coming back and fighting.
I would be into that, and would be happy to see both guys back.
Same here. Big fan of Carwin's and would love to see him fight once again. Not sure if Carwin knows more than he's letting on with those tweets or if he just wants to put his name in the hat to fight Brock if he does return.
Even if Lesnar comes back and isn't making a run for the title there are still lots of interesting fights for him and he can help the UFC's PPV sales in GSP's absence.
Assuming these rumors are true, word is Lesnar wants JDS, Werdum, or Cain. Obviously he doesn't deserve an immediate title shot, but I like those options. Carwin also tweeted about this and it sounds like he may be interested in attempting a comeback as well.
I agree with the rest of you guys. Brock isn't that great but there are still plenty of fun fights for him at HW. He's also a big name and a draw so he'll help the UFC. As long as he isn't being gifted a title shot anytime soon, I have no problem with this.
UFC is holding a special press conference in a few hours. Apparently it's to announce some new digital network.
Fedor/Brock is not happening but they need a major star with GSP and Anderson gone. Jones and Cain haven't took off as they have planned. Rousey is really interesting. I don't think Hendricks or Weidman have it.. Aldo doesn't sell well, and neither would Johnson, Cruz or MM.
Anybody know where the UFC Fan Expo will be held at?? Mandalay Bay? I'm planning a Vegas trip around than and would like to kill two birds with one stone
The last one was at Mandalay so I would assume. It was a cool experience for sure. I would highly recommend getting there before they open the doors, because people will already be lining up. What's nice about that is you can immediately get in line for any of the fighters who have a session at 9am or whatever. After everyone gets inside and figures out where the fighters are you're gonna be in line for 2 hours, so getting there early essentially allows you to meet an extra fighter (and avoid a ridiculous line for them).
The video quality on Fight Pass is very good and it looks like they'll be putting every event on there, including PPVs. UFC 167 is up and you can watch the entire PPV or pick individual fights. We'll get a better indication of how soon they'll be adding PPVs once 168 is up.
