It reminded me of an awesome high school sized class.

40 kids, Sports Administration, we just talked about which organization would be fun to work for and stuff.

Edit: 40 is a very small class. Wow. My classes are usually about 200 people, with my Chem being the biggest at about 450.

If you guys are losing, just take a shift or two. Lay the body, show them that you mean business.

Engineering at Carleton had over 900 first year students last year.

My cousin just started high school and I got an email of her teachers from my uncle today. I know most of them and the ones that I do know are very nice. I'm really happy for her.

And with the dropout rate in engineering, it's probably down to 45 already!!

Dammit Manked. If you had posted a bit earlier, you could have broken up my triple post.

I keep hearing that the Engineering drop out rate is pretty high, but I honestly didn't find first year that bad. I wasn't working that hard and there were some hectic weeks here and there, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle.

My class sizes for the first two years were 200+, with the exception of Prose Fiction and Essay Writing (both 50 or less). This year my classes all look like they're about 50-60.

Mine were very similar, too. 200-300 per class except English, which was about 80. By the time fourth year rolled around, my biggest class had about 100. Perils of being a Psych minor.

Now, it looks like I'll have about 60 per class.
