So if Im reading WRAL correctly, apparently Notre Dame is joining the ACC for every sport but football(but they will play ACC teams 5 times annually. I for one am a bit disappointed, just because I hate the "tradition" that gets tossed around 5 times every game.
The tradition of losing on national television almost every weekend?
I bought mine like a month ago, haven't gotten a chance to pick it up yet though. Will probably pick it up tomorrow though, have a ton of work to get done and already get distracted quite easily by loud noises, internet videos of cats, etc.
I didn't say "received," I said "bought." You can preorder (up to the full price of the game) at Gamestop months in advance. I bought mine a month ago.
I was supposed to attend on Saturday, but something came up and couldn't go (and the weather didn't help much). A buddy of mine went and said he was disappointed in the line-up compare to last year. That's all relative to one's musical tastes though.
What else do you expect from a guy who was the QB at Vandy? He probably spent more time counting stars and tweeting birds than he did upright during his college career.
Edit: For you ACC fans unfamiliar with a real football conference, Vandy is our version of Wake Forest. Only not as good. Wake actually manged to get to a BCS Bowl one year, a feat Vandy has yet to match. Additionally Vandy doesn't even have an athletics director - their athletic programs are run out of their campus recreation office, the same as intramurals.

I think the Wake comparison is a bit generous... at least in terms of football. I was thinking more Duke on that one (again, strictly football) in terms of relevancy in the sport.

And yet South Carolina played a close game against Vandy. I fail to see your point.
Calgary just offered me Iginla at the deadline for Keegan Lowe, Tommi Kivistö and a 1st.
JR, get on the phone
Yeah, I was looking through on GM Connected (nobody in the league yet, I just made one to see how the CPU GMs would work compared to previous games) to see if I could pawn off some pieces I didn't want (read: Spacek, Corvo, Stewart) to clear up some cap space, and saw a few oddities. Calgary wanted to trade Iginla, Ottawa wanted to trade Alfredsson, Anaheim wanted to trade Selanne...it seems like the computer GMs just either want to cut out older, high cap hit contracts...or trade youth (like the CPU Rangers GM wanted to do...every prospect was available).
I offered them Jamie McBain for Iginla, they said no, but was very happy about the offer.
I did the Iginla trade, traded Eh Stew for BizNasty, Corvo and a 2nd for Hal Gill (I wanted Tallinder but NJ refused to part with him) and a 3rd and Tim Brent and Zach Boychuk for Jared Boll.
