In the last decade I have witnessed 3 Appalachian State national championships, 2 UNC national championships, 2 Red Sox World Series, a Hurricanes' Stanley Cup, and a Panthers' Super Bowl appearance. But man does it suck to be a fan of those teams right now.

I'm floored by this. Wow. I don't know if I blame Hurney as much as Rivera and Chud. The talent is there and locked up, but they haven't been used. Hes very similar to JR with drafts though: great success early, and little to nothing late. Very curious to see who they have in mind to replace him.

San Diego Chargers bing investigated for using an illegal sticky substance against the Broncos

lol wat?

Wonder what it could've been used for. Maybe I'm naive but I don't get what or how you could cheat doing that?

EDIT: nevermind, guess they were using it to help them catch. I misread the article and thought they were using it against Denver somehow. and lol at the guy in the football forum who said if found guilty the only proper punishment is Norv Turner being signed to a lifetime contract.

Raiders apparently used it all the time back in the 70s. And yes, that would be an appropriate punishment for the Chargers if found guilty

Please god no to more Norv. I can't even tell you how hard it is to like that team right now, and my second team is the Panthers.

Hurney's a good part to the equation as to why the talent on the field is second rate. You'd be hard pressed to find a GM with a worse drafting track record, not to mention his asinine draft day trades (see: Everette Brown, Armanti Edwards, etc.)

Good riddance, but he should have been gone years ago. Maybe the new guy can get rid of our gluttony of unused RB's (more terrible Hurney decisions).

Just so it's over here too: LOL at Charles Johnson being upset about this being brought up. Of course he's upset about it, Hurney is the only human alive that would have given him that rediculous contract he's currently enjoying.

Theyre only unused because they hired a guy who has a completely different offensive philosophy. Theyre still talented and valuable players. De Angelo averages almost 5.0 ypc for his career. Tolbert has 20 TDs since 2010, good for 7th in the NFL. Cam is cam and Stewart is Stewart. Maybe the next guy will hire a guy that actually builds a game plan around the talent on the team.

Yeah they should have let the only real talent on the defensive line walk for nothing. Again. Thats a good idea.

I need Brandon Pettigrew to outscore Brandon Marshall by 10.4 or more to win this week. Not the best odds, but far from the worst I would imagine. Big thanks to Trent Richardson and Golden Tate who combined to get me 1 point this week

Meanwhile, I won this week by a score of 204.12 to 114.94. It was a pretty close call this week.

What are your settings like? I did this this week and it was the most anyone has scored in my league so far this year.

Ah OK so fairly standard just with bonuses. We just do bonuses for things like 40+ yard TDs. Still, impressive week.

Yeah, but the downside is that I now play the best guy in the league, and I really could use a W this week so I don't drop down from 3rd place again.

Well, I lost my week by 15 points. I also had SIX players score less than 5 points.

This was my reaction after the game last nite.
